“We popped into the Stamford Gate as we happened to be passing by one Sunday afternoon. When we arrived, the staff were very welcoming and quick to accommodate us despite it being peak time of the day. I haven't been out for a Sunday roast for several months but I must say that this was one of the best roast dinners I have had for a very long time. The beef was cooked perfectly, the Yorkshire pudding was light yet crispy on the outside, and the gravy was simply divine. All complimented with some lovely sides too. I can't fault the food or the service and for that I give it 5 stars. We will be sure to return.”

“Handy station, got all the essentials and a free cash machine. I find the fuel well priced but then again I only use Shell garages for fuel, wont put unbranded cheap fuel in my car. I work in a car repair garage and the amount of repairs we have to deal with from poor quality fuel is an eye opener, save a penny at the pump and spend few £100 in your local repair shop instead.”

“Called in for a Subway meal. Staff were friendly, fuel prices expensive. Go further down toward Holywell, there's a co op staion/shop which is lots cheaper for fuel.”
