Smelly dirty rooms with broken toilets and blinds, absolutely disgusting, owner was an unhelpful and ignorant buffoon!

We stayed for one night in a double room. Room was clean and tidy with a few toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is nicely situated with a lovely view. There is a large carpark. The staff were friendly and helpful especially reception and the waitresses in the restaurant. The restaurant food was excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

Had a lovely relaxing afternoon in the bar. Evening meal wasn't brilliant but edible. The room we had was for disabled. The hand bars were full of dust and the paint was peeling of the pipe on the radiator. The first thing you saw as you walk in is the black marks on the window frame. Needs a new blind in the bathroom. Once these are sorted it will be a much better room.

The bedroom was ok albeit a little shabby. The bathroom was grubby and had mildew around the bath, which an attempt had been made to cover up with a thin layer of fresh sealant. The bathroom floor had been swept for sometime, not niceThe staff are friendly but rushed, clearly understaffed. The breakfast was pleasant enough although the grilled tomatoes were replaced with tinned which wasn?t mentioned at the time ordering.I feel this hotel is overpriced for what you get.

Stayed here yesterday 15/8/23 very rude receptionist!!Had no Internet signal in room so called the reception to let them know as i needed it for work, the guy said to go by the room door for signal. We still weren't able to get signal so i went down to the reception to ask for help, the guy just laughed at me and said "We cant have Internet everywhere all the time" when i explained they i needed it for work he continued to laugh at me, shrugged and started to walk away saying he cant do anything about it.Also there was paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling. We had tea bags that had nothing to identify what flavour they were (tasted like hay). The rooms were very dated and full of spiders. Not worth the £120 i paid for the room to be treated like less than dirt, ill definitely never stay here again !!

Lovely room with sea view (no 2). Great beer in bar, food in restaurant, and breakfast. An ideal stop before getting the ferry to Dublin.

We had a lovely stay. Bed very soft, comfortable, room was a decent size. Hot water and there was a bath and shower in the bathroom. Lots of coffee and tea which is always a bonus. Lovely breakfast, helpful staff, restaurant was pretty and food was great. My only improvement would be a mirror lower down so I could see to dry my hair. Or even a full length mirror inside the wardrobe door. But hardly a deal breaker. We would come again and stay here. Thankyou!

First visit here, but definitely won?t be the last! The place is simply great. Good size double room, serviced daily, with tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was gorgeous, full English and freshly cooked, the bar/pub area is very roomy, drinks at sensible prices, the restaurant was lovely too, plenty of room between tables, varied menu and outstanding food. The icing on the cake was the staff, each and everyone were pleasant, happy and helpful.

I?ve never had a more disrespectful and rude experience with anyone in the hospitality industry. I visited this place primarily for its family feel, which looked great from the reviews. To be greeted with a condescending manager, who at any point would be happy to point out all flaws and issues with our booking. But fine, up to the room we went and the shower is the noisest shower I?ve ever used, decor is dated, a smell of rotting wood on arrival and wallpaper coming away from the wall by the window. Not to mention the huge build up of moss right outside the window, making for an unimpressive view outside. Went for food on the Friday evening and I?ve never tasted worse food and seen less engaged and rude staff. We complained about a dish and the manager was friendly at the table but murmured something under his breath when he walked away. All in all, an experience I will NEVER repeat, and an experience I would not recommend to anyone else visiting the beautiful and picturesque island of Anglesey. There are much better places to visit than this dated, poorly maintained place.

The only thing letting the place down was the dinner menu as it was pretty standard and unimaginative. It was over priced for what it was.Everything else was superb with the rooms being nice and spacious with a nice relaxing ambience. The staff were lovely with a willingness to be helpful.
