Came here today for some food, was absolutely amazing so tasty and such good value for money. My daughter especially loved her kids meal. Would highly recommend !!!

The rice and chicken currying is the worst I have ever eaten. The chicken was like rubber and the curry sauce just tasted like cheap curry powder, most certainly not homemade.

I gave this a one star rating as I was annoyed that I fancied a piece of fish for lunch only to find it was closed. Why have opening and closing times if you don't stick to them and close early. This rating is not a reflection on their food as I've had good food from them. Just annoyed they closed early.

I have to share the experience I had when visting Gelligaer Fish Bar, firstly it was a very nice and welcoming atmosphere in the shop the staff were all well mannered and polite. They were happy to assist me in asking about portion and cod sizes etc. Lets get to the food, all I can say is the batter for the fish was crispy and it was the best fish I have ever tried. The chips were nice and tasted fresh not dried up like other fish and chip shops and don't get me started about the battered sausage it was amazing!!
My experience was 10/10 and if you want good food then give this place a try! :)
