Can't comment on the food or drink as we didn't get any! Service was non existent and after eventually asking a waitress if we should get a drink ourselves from the bar we were rudely told to get menus aswell while we were there as she was too busy!

Very human- and dog-friendly, accommodating pub. We had a table of 6 arrive late for lunch service but we were welcomed with a smile. We initially wanted the garden but it was busy so we found a lovely table tucked away which turned out better (cooler, quieter and comfortable for people amd dogs alike). I had the chicken salad which was generous and delicious. The burger was also tasty and the 3 pizzas were all wolfed down with a smile. Great food. We were given a bowl of water for the dogs too.

A cozy restaurant with beautiful vintage decor. They offer quality Italian food at moderately high prices. Overall, I recommend trying this place out.

Absolutely amazing experience!! The food was exceptional. We had a roast dinner there and we were both blown away by the quality of it. The Yorkshire pudding was the best we?ve ever had. The staff were lovely, the service was great and we were just so pleased to have stopped by there.

The food at this place is absolutely fantastic. We had the smoked salmon salad, lasagna, beef ragu tagliatelle and the cheese burger. My brother is super picky and said it's tied for first for the best burger he's ever had - this is data from 30+ countries! The beef ragu pasta was also exceptional. The 17th century British pub vibe brought us in, but the food makes us want to come back as soon as we're back in Hay on Wye! Well done team.

The kindest word I could use to describe our dinner at the Three Tuns is ?underwhelming?, with a pinch of ?disappointing? and an over-seasoning of ?ridiculously overpriced?. The bread for the ?bruschetta? was the wrong kind of bread, jt was like something an amateur chef would make. The pasta dishes were fine but for nearly £20 a plate I expect food like mama used to make, not like mama hurriedly reheated in the microwave

We dined in here this evening, having booked a table earlier in the day. It?s a pub with character, flagged floors, old beams, dark wood furniture- simple & authentic (& busy). All staff who served us were friendly & polite and the food was delicious. Salads were beautifully fresh, and hot food was really hot. We weren?t rushed but staff were organised, clearing the table when we?d finished, replenishing drinks- spot on. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides, 2 gins & 2 large glasses of delicious wine, £70- excellent value. The staff seemed to care about giving a good service, we?d definitely eat here again- a great experience.

It was a busy Saturday night with a few large groups.
I ordered pizza, which was okay but not brilliant and it took over 30 mins to come.
Service was okay too.
Wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid either. It was okay.

We called in after The Royal Welsh Show. The pub was extremely busy and every table was taken but the amazing staff got us onto a cleared, clean table once one became available.
We very much enjoyed the food, atmosphere, local beer and very friendly staff.
Thank you to all the staff who served us on a very busy evening, you all did an amazing job.
