If I could give this a zero star I would. Walked into the shop and the girl with yellow hair was sweeping dirt onto my feet as I said excuse me to get past her so I wasn?t in her way she huffed. And she was EXTREMELY rude to my partner with the most foul language. Shouldn?t be working in a place like this. She should be ashamed of herself!

Friendly. Lots of food. Prices on items not the same as what you are charged. Thankfully for me it balanced out. Calpol was cheaper than sign on shelf. Apples cheaper than sign. Bread more expensive. Ask for a receipt if you want to know what you paid.Don't take a buggy in - narrow aisles.

Overpriced and we were overcharged at the till and not for the first time!Bought a few items, knowing they were all under £2 each, noticed one of them scan in way higher. Asked the guy at the checkout, who checked the offer and told us that it had expired and the price on the shelf was wrong. He would 'honour it this time'. He then screwed up and threw the receipt away without even asking if we wanted it (I wanted to check the prices of everything at this point!)This was almost identical to the last time we were in Hay-on-Wye and came here.

Sold me mouldy food and then the lady behind the till was incredibly rude about it and accused me of eating ?half of it already? which was 100% untrue! At least the manager seemed to have some people skills?

Grumpy hag on the tills. Cramped shop with nowhere to move. 2 for £2.50 drinks can't mix and match brands which isn't clear

I can't really rate the store as the queue to get in was about an hour, but at least that shows they've maintaining a sensible number of people in the store, so for that, and the fact that it's going to be much the same as most Spar shoos I've given 3 stars.

Yesterday been in Hay as a tourist (nothing new for locals I guess ;) ). Just before my last return bus decide to buy some staff for drink and went to this shop.
