It was a bit disappointing, lacking in flavour really, tasted as if no spice in either of our main dishes, very bland, the starter was a little better. I was looking for a recommendation and the waiter was not keen to help, just giving me more time to choose. Young girl was cheerful.
If you're NOT into spice, then this is the place for you. If you want flavour and spice, sorry would not recommend.

Ate here Monday 14/07/25 after a recommendation from a gentleman we got chatting to whilst looking for somewhere to eat in Hay-on-wye. Oh my so glad we went. I had a chicken stir fry from their 'lighter' on calories selection. My husband had vegetable korma. Both were very well presented and really delicious. The staff are lovely and made us feel very welcome. If ever we pass through Hay again we will definitely return. Best wishes, Cathy & Steve, Worcestershire.

The food is acceptable, but for us, lacked imaginative spicing. Too much reliance on sugar, not enough on flavour.

Great service. Unfortunately the food was quite disappointing.
I ordered butter chicken. It was way too sweet. The chicken tasted very dry and weird, which made me suspect it was just reheated pre-packaged frozen food.
The texture and the taste of the naan was also very different from what I expected.

We come to Hay every year and we LOVE this Indian restaurant so much! It?s up there with some of the best restaurants we have been to. Delicious food, great service and also gave us a free bottle of beer this evening. Highly recommend

A little gem of a find. Looking for somewhere to eat for an evening meal in Hay, i was surprised to find we didn't have to book (for only 2). Upon arrival we were greeted promptly, and friendly. We ordered poppadoms (we got an extra one free), with dips, -delicious, the wine was good value, the meal came quickly, all very hot and sizzling. The staff were friendly throughout and were not intrusive.
Altogether a lovely meal and great value. Thoroughly recommended.
