Food is okay at the very most, the service is god awful tho, there?s always a huge line of people waiting as they only open for 3 hours 4 days a week which let?s be honest is just silly

Popped in around 7.30 pm. Ordered small cod, chip shop curry sauce and a chicken burger. That cod was something else!!!- thin crispy batter aswell as fresh fish & the ultimate chippy curry sauce was the ultimate combination!! Hats off to the best local ?chippy tea? for miles in my honest opinion. When you?re visiting hay-on-wye make sure you pop in for the best chippy scran there is to offer for miles!!!

The ladies that served me was very helpful
I went in with a small list of allergies they was happy to accommodate me they went above and beyond
And the food was really tasty too
Not the closest chippy to us but will definitely now be our go to

Very expensive for unfortunately not the best Fish & Chips. Excessive batter making the fish look bigger and not freshly cooked!

There is sometimes a wait if they have a rush on, but that's because it is cooked fresh.

Excellent fish and chips, good value for the portions (way bigger than our local London ones). Staff were super friendly and even offered a top tip for parking the next day at the market.

Chips tasted like they were reheated, soggy and powdery potato. Home made burgers clearly weren't, stale buns, sad salad. Friendly staff.

On my first visit to this chip shop I found the service to be very slow. The chips weren?t great and the fish was poor. Not a good service either. However, I decided to give them another try today which was a Saturday. Their website said that they were open at 5pm on Saturdays. So I turned up at 5.15pm to find the shop in total darkness with signs on the door/window saying they were open at 5pm on Saturdays! That?s the last time I visit this chip shop!

Ordered a large portion of chips got home to discover half was inedible hard pieces of batter, scrapings or ends of chips, i wouldnt have minded paying more just to have a real portion of chips, lesson learnt go somewhere else.
