When booking staff could not be kinder
As soon as we arrived for the booking everything was rushed it was almost like they wanted out of the restaurant as soon as possible. The couple on the table next to us left the restaurant and said good luck to us with the staff when they left.
Food was ok but nothing great
Staff were abrupt and unwelcoming. On payment we were asked to go across the road to the cash point to at half in cash- definitely dodgy just saying
All in all I would not recommend the expensive experience for terrible quality service.
I look forward to seeing how long this business lasts in it?s current state.

Restaurant really needs an overall, it's not very nice inside, the takeaway food we had was really good, really tasty and good sized portions

Booked to go to Harlech to sight-see.
We looked at a few options and chose to have an Indian for our dinner.
Upon arrival we were greeted by people leaving, which meant we were the only customers in there.
We ordered our food and had difficulty getting the workers to understand that my girlfriend cannot eat gluten, the guy taking our order said,?I?ll wait for the other guy, he understands more about that? which was fine. We waited?
The other person came out and didn?t really understand what we meant, the only thing he could do was say a menu item or two and eventually we just asked for a meal guaranteed to have no gluten in it.
I asked for a Naan as I am not Coeliac/ gluten intolerant. This created even more of a problem as they tried to put two Naans down on our order?
When we got our food it was slightly on the warmer side. My beer was from a bottle and not draught(which was stated on the menu). My girlfriend had a flat cider which was advertised on the menu as Strongbow.
There was no music, no ambience and the server was even watching videos on his phone out loud. This meant we had to stop our conversation and wait until he had stopped watching.
I enjoyed the food, but nothing else.
I was later informed that the locals rarely go there.

Can?t understand the terrible reviews on here about the food. We had a takeaway last night and the food was excellent! All starters, mains, rice and naan were nice and fresh and piping hot. A little over priced, but It is what is being in such a small village. Can?t comment on the restaurant itself, but if you want a takeaway don?t be put off by other reviews.

Food was absolutely, taste less and over priced, 3 bits of chicken in a meal, rice hard and nann bread just raw garlic on top. Korma had lumps of hard coconut paste. Would never venture here again. Just picked it upro take away, the restaurant smelt damp and looked dirty paint crumpled of walls,server stunk of booze and tried to be very touchy feely with me. Never wanted to get out of anywhere so quick.

Overpriced dirty restaurant. Please don't go there .
Food was terrible, place was not clean, leaking ceiling, mouldy walls.

You cannot fault the food but you?ll need to eat with your eyes closed. The place is rancid. It?s not fit to be used as a restaurant.

Very surprising place, really not welcoming, even if the food is ok. The boss welcomes you as if you were nothing, not a smile, not a friendly word, you have the impression of bothering him. His tie is hanging on a coat rack in the room, the chairs are smashed, the paint is in very poor condition. All this could be acceptable if the boss would do something about it. Finally, probably the only restaurant in the whole of the United Kingdom that does not take credit cards! In short? no choice, because no restaurant was open!

Food was extremely over priced. Chips undercooked. When paying approximately 300% more for something so simple as a portion of chips you would somewhat expect a little effort to make them appealing.
Phone staff rude, reception staff rude.
No comment on the actual state of the establishments interior. Personally won't eat there again but if your desperate, and in harlech.. why not? The foods a gamble and at least you'll be armed knowing that there prices are to high for the quality.
At least you'll be prepared.
