Absolutely amazing food and happy staff. Really delicious and exciting menu and just the thing to lift the spirits and have a good chat over whilst enjoying the view of the castle, especially on a day when rain wants to limit castle wandering. Definitely going to be revisiting very soon.

Lovely setting, beautiful view and good coffee but the food let it down. I went with my husband, unfortunately we just missed breakfast so opted for early lunch. Flatbread with hummus and roasted vegetables off the special?s board was very disappointing, the roasted vegetables consisted of onions and courgette, not very flavoursome. It was crying out for peppers and tomatoes for colour and flavour against the hummus. The ham and cheese panini wasn?t much better ham was sparse and soft crisps, balsamic dressing gave both dishes some help, very tasty.

Good range of breakfast, lunch and snack options, including vegan choices. Lunch isn't the cheapest, but the service is good and the food is tasty. I'm still thinking about the vegan crumble slices that we had. The view is amazing too, with the castle to one side and views over to the sea the other side.

After a lovely blustery few hours at Harlech Beach, we drove up to the castle entrance and stopped for a late lunch at the castle caffi (cafe). The food was nice and the portions were generous however as expected it was quite pricey. We had sandwiches, a traditional Welsh Rarebit and drinks for 6 (4 adults and 2 children) and it cost £68. The castle had arranged a traditional children entertainer, a wonderfully unexpected surprise which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

Popped in to the cafe after walking around the castle opposite. The staff are very friendly and the panini was delicious. Very quick service and reasonable prices.

Perfect for Gluten free, lots of options including savoury and sweet. Really lovely staff, great views and perfect for visiting the castell.

Absolutely fantastic food and wonderful service. I had the calamari wrap which was, without doubt, the best wrap I?ve ever tasted. It was full of calamari, with an amazing chilli and lemon kick. My husband had a cheeseburger, and he is quite fussy but said it was divine. My daughter had the prawn baguette and said it was delicious. Absolutely gem of a place, and run by lovely people. I?d thoroughly recommend. We will be back!!!

Fantastic location and view but the food is decent too. We visited for lunch and the service was good and prompt although they were busy. Nothing outstanding on the menu but deserves four stars for the setting.

Men of Harlech sing for your supper (lunch) Any cheese on toast, sorry I mean Welsh Rarebit, that has the melted cheese running down the side of the sourdough gets my vote. A modest salad (with drizzle), coleslaw and a little pot of pickle - recommended. PS with a view exceeded only by the sea view from the castle. Probably worth going just for the view. Friendly tip don?t go when there is a special event on for kids in the castle. Alternatively allow an extra hour on the parking

This location in Harlech can't be beat! Beautiful views and a beautiful lunch. We had paninis and they were great, followed by a piece of home made cake which was scrumptious. Always made to fee very welcome here by the the lovely staff.

The food and drink (latte and tuna panini ) was fine, but it was so disappointing that when I ordered in Welsh (un latte mawr ac un tuna panini os gwelwch yn dda) I was told bluntly that the server didn't speak welsh. No attempt to understand - it really wasn't difficult! Its a shame that this server didn't make any apoplogy or attempt to learn some basic Welsh - please/ thank you/ one, two three etc. To think that it was here that Owain Glyndwr held his second Parliament, and the staff show such little respect for the language, history and culture that the castle represents.

What a lovely breakfast . A small and clean cafe with out door seating and lovely staff . Looked on their web site first as I didn?t know if they were doing breakfast but they were. Home made cakes also . We took our dog and sat outside as dogs are not allowed in the cafe it?s self . A lovely view of castle and beach

Visited with some friends on a grey blustery day but received a nice warm welcome. A friend and I opted for the homemade chicken stew which was extremely tasty, although I would class it more as a broth as the sauce was very thin. It was served with lovely bread and butter. Another friend had the welsh rarebit which she also said was very tasty. Portions were good and prices were fair.

We had lunch here, sitting outside as we had our dog with us. We had Welsh Rarebit and homemade soup. It was delicious. Reasonably priced for the quality. Friendly staff.
