The landlord here is a knob. The pub is hardly ever open, and even when it is... its poorly stocked and he will call last orders at 9.30pm... because "there's nobody in"... by which time you've had too much to drive elsewhere... so he's basically ruined your night because not enough people wanted to go to a lazily operated pub with a weird host who has the personality and charm of a housebrick.Please sell the pub to anyone else... because anyone else could do a better job.

a lovely pub to eat in, the menu was varied and very tempting, it was difficult to decide what to have. the chicken wings I had to start were juicy and had good flavour, plenty for a starter too. I had a main off the specials board, very tasty and plentiful. I did squeeze a sweet in but t the rest of our party had the mini dessert with a coffee included, brilliant idea and just enough to satisfy the sweet tooth.
Staff were very attentive and polite, certainly made us feel welcome.
brilliant place, we will return another day.

Visited today arriving at 7.30 pm. Pub in darkness. No response despite ringing bell and knocking on door. Very strange given board outside saying open from 7 pm. Disappointing to say the least. Won't go back
