Horrible I had asda rewards, but when I lost my phone and asked them to transfer to my new phone number they basically said tuff and have been no help at all at every corner they refuse what a service after giving them

Online shop yesterday X3 Frozen diced lamb £9 as a deal but I was charged £15?
Jack Daniels 1ltr at the time of purchase was I think £25 so should have been honoured. Shopping arrives this morning minus the Jack Daniels because the price went back up TODAY not yesterday

Grocery Online Home Delivery Service:
The actual local ASDA is great, good choice and excellent, helpful staff. However, due to ill health have needed to frequently use the home delivery service. There have been repeated problems with these home deliveries: wrong quantity of items sent, odd choice of replacements sent or delivery drive failed to bring all ordered items from truck.
The worst was an afternoon order prior to the arrival of company from a distance. Unfortunately, all the cool refrigerated items were missing. The delivery driver was already gone when I realised. I immediately phoned ASDA. I had to make repeated calls to the 0800 number. I was told the driver would be tracked and we would receive the missing crate of items later that day. I tracked this order online with status saying 'On the Way' giving times of arrival just before 10 pm. At 9:55 pm it updated saying 'Delivered'. It wasn't. I waited 7 hours that evening and it never arrived. I called again before 10 pm, was eventually transferred to a store manager and told it would be with me 'first thing in the morning delivery' cycle. Woke at 6 am the next morning to wait for it to arrive. It never did. I spoke with 7 different ASDA colleagues on the telephone who all repeatedly said I would receive these missing items. They were all pleasant and professional on the phone, well trained following the company customer service script. However, what I was repeatedly told was incorrect or misleading information.
If someone on those repeat phone calls just said it was cancelled, I could have arranged an alternative. Instead, my guests had to help grocery shop for our meals as I couldn?t. I received a refund on the missing items, but this nowhere covers the time and distressing inconvenience this incident caused over 2 days.
As more problems with home delivery orders have persisted, I will need to use competing supermarkets in the future which is a shame to miss on good values and choice ASDA has to offer.

Staff are absolutely brilliant really helpful, polite, friendly and efficient. However the vegetable and fruit bit are poorly stocked sometimes absolutely no carrots, potatoes or onions. Today the carrots were mouldy and smelt. The shelves are sparce. For instance the ready meal bit had just 2 curries. Milk is always short dates. The longest date was 4 days. Self serve is a nightmare it always has at least 3 occasions where a staff member has to be called to scan their card. No tills open with staff on open a Saturday morning.
You'd think Saturday morning the shop would be fully stocked with at least 2 tills open with staff on
Not everyone likes self serve. I won't be going back. Tesco is cheaper anyway.

Just had the best exceptional customer service from Julie and Dylan at Asda Gorseinon, They couldn't do enough for me on a faulty product I had to return ,I wish all places would be as good as these two ,Thanks again both Paul Crook Xx

I don't have any problems with the staff, except, what seems to be a lack of them. I have never been onto a supermarket that has so many empty shelves. In any other shop that looks this poorly stocked, you would think they were going bankrupt.

Save yourself some time and go to one of the competitors a few minutes down the road.
You?ll spend more time waiting for a till than doing the shopping here.
By the time your tills found its first ?unexpected item in the bagging area? or your bag for life has thrown your shopping all over the car park, you could?ve gone down to Aldi, picked up a 3 course meal, cooked it and be tucking into pudding.

I visited the store in June 24 and again in August 24 to be helped by the same kind, patient lovely Jayden O. He went out of his way and duties to help me with my awkward card payment that was taking forever to work and then my phone died!! He was so patient and helpful. Again this happened to me again minus the dead phone last week, Jayden was luckily on shift again and helped again. What a lovely gent. Overall many of the staff are friendly and helpful but he stands out to me. I tried to leave a compliment on the Asda site but states over the 14 days of first receipt!
