An absolutely superb small museum that's well worth a visit if you're passing or in the area.Staffed by terrifically passionate and engaging volunteers and a fascinating array of preserved history and artefacts to discover there. I look forward to returning and seeing one of the engines running one day!

A small friendly and helpful buch of people who are passionate about there history. A warm welcome awaiting your arrival. The Volunteers are happy to talk to you about this cause as well as engage in any new projects. Exiting plans to put back the trackwork in the museum yard as it was as well as one day to give brake van ride up and down the length of the yard behind the museum Ruston Locomotive. A nice place to sit outside soaking up the atmosphere on a fine day.

Called early today, 5th February 2022 on what was their opening day. What a fantastic place packed with history of the tramway but also including lots of information and photographs of local quarries, coal yard etc . This attraction is clearly run by true local enthusiasts who show real interest in showing visitors around . Quite small but a great place and easy to find in the centre of Glyn Ceiriog.

Bearing mind all volunteers and tucked away from the usual tourist honey traps, what a delightful place! So full /packed with local history and the train /tramway - run by true enthusiasts. A rare find and worth seeking out. Wishing them best for the future.
