Brilliant pub. Visiting greenwood park with the kids and staying close by. Beat my favourite pub were I like in greater Manchester. If you are in the area it's a no brainer to eat here. Burgers were spot on and kids enjoyed their 'kids' meals.
Might come to greenwood park next year just to eat here - it's that good. B&B Owner agreed it was a brilliant pub.

Highly recommended ?
We went for Sunday Lunch and just opted for 2 courses rather than the 3, its worth noting you can just have one if you want too. But I've got to be honest if you don't have the dessert its a crime!
Gorgeous home cooked Roast dinner, with all the veg, mash and roast potatoes, we added cauliflower cheese too which is a must. The Banoffee cheesecake was divine and homemade.
Speedy, polite and friendly service.
Will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

We ordered salmon and scampi from the menu. The salmon was fine however the vegetables were overcooked. The scampi was very disappointing, 9 pieces of poor quality scampi with peas and chips, I had to ask for tartare sauce. A pretty tasteless effort akin to what you get at a chain pub.

We were made to feel like we were a hindrance and an inconvenience for having the nerve to turn up for food, even though we have pre booked our meal 5 days earlier.
We had to sit outside after opening time at 5.30, as the doors was still not open. Not good.
The lady that was front of house huffed and puffed after opening the doors, as there was a queue of people waiting to enter the building. Again, not good.
We had spoken with the same lady some five days earlier and confirmed we needed a high chair, only for her to comment that we had not asked for it originally. Which was incorrect, and actually, need not be mentioned given they had high chairs readily available. Why make the comment?
Bit of a shambles all in all, led by an incompetent and rude front of house lady who really should undergo some courses in hospitality training should she wish to continue in the same role.
Food was nice, however, but does not take away that the overall service was lamentable.
Really spoiled what should have been an enjoyable experience.
2 out of 5.

Looked nice so stopped for a meal. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. The only issue was that my wife asked for a little extra gravy and was charged an extra £3.75 which we have never experienced before

Goated. Amazing owner who knows exactly how to run a pub and does a fantastic job. Selection of drinks puts all pubs in Caernarfon combined to shame

Went for food last night very disappointing, food looked as it had been thrown on plate not hot..my daughter?s food was lost?? And when it came out it looked re-heated and senior staff bickering over lost food. On a positive note young welsh waiting on staff bery polite.Won?t be visiting again..
