Brilliant pub. Visiting greenwood park with the kids and staying close by. Beat my favourite pub were I like in greater Manchester. If you are in the area it's a no brainer to eat here. Highly recommended ? We went for Sunday Lunch and just opted for 2 courses rather than the 3, its worth noting you can just have one if you want too. We ordered salmon and scampi from the menu. The salmon was fine however the vegetables were overcooked. The scampi was very disappointing, 9 pieces of poor quality scampi with peas and chips, I had to ask for tartare sauce. A pretty tasteless effort akin to what you get at a chain pub.
The Goat Inn Restaurant and Bar is located on the A487 between Porthmadog and Caernarfon. Our restaurant serves food both at lunch times and in the evening. We also have a function room ideally suited for Weddings, Birthday Parties, Confrences, Funeral Teas and Christenings.
