A hidden gem of a place, unfortunately when we were there, a couple of weeks ago, it was really flooded so we couldn't walk far

Lovely marshland area and good birdwatching. Map at car park could do with some sort of scale. Enjoyed our visit. Dogs were allowed everywhere, under control that is. But watch those cyclists on the cycle paths.

Safe locations for much of birds ( electric fenced ) Good paths many suitable for wheelchairs or cyclists. Environmentally maintained - seeing increased bird visits.

Not yet developed in terms of hides and the footpaths vary from very good to muddy. There is a tarmac cycle way runs across the westnorthwest edge. The birding is outstanding

A really quiet and beautiful place. All on the flat and plenty of wildlife to observe. A special place to get away from it all.

Great place to have a walk as the sun goes down.

Travelled a long way and seen very little bird activity. Obviously chose the wrong time to visit

Absolutely love this nature reserve. Lots of birds and insects and a great long walk.

Great for walking the dog and going for a run as it's flat. Only downside is the amount of dog poo that some people leave right in the middle of the path, it's not difficult to bag it and take it back to the car park bins.

Excellent RSPB reserve with some great wildlife spotting opportunities. Most of the walks are on level ground but be prepared to cross a cow field or two if you follow the circular walk. Star species include Marsh Harrier and Bittern but we also saw a couple of Great White Egret too!
