Arrived here for a family party. Rooms had been booked well in advance - took over a hour to be given the room. So many mistakes - checking in was appaling. Staff inexperienced - disappointing. Didn't know til we got to the room that it was on first floor with access via fire-escape type stairs. No full info on website. Wouldn't rush back there.Noteworthy details: Be sure to get the room you prefer- booking in system is the worst I've seen in any other hotel!!!!

Great. Needed an overnight stay before driving back after working in the area & a place to do some paperwork. Great value, neat, clean, good food. Certainly if I am working up that way again, I will stay again.Rooms: Good size. New bathroom. Clean. Good WiFi. Only thing I really needed was a chair in the room as opposed to just the stool that went with the small desk / dressing table. Finished my paperwork off in the bar.

Stayed at Mountain Park Hotel for two nights at the end of January 2024. Whilst travelling up from Portsmouth, i recived a phone call asking for an ETA, when i said about 7:15pm, i was told that the reception would be closed and my key will be left somewhere secure. Luckily, my brother was staying at the same hotel and was able to collect my key for me. I dont believe that 7:15 is an unreasonable time to check in so why reception could remain open until i arrived is beyond me. When i did arrive, the courtyard/car park was pretty much in complete darkness. trying to find my room was a nightmare as i could not see the numbers on the doors without my phone light on. i must have looked a right idiot walking up and down looking for my room. When i finally did get into my room, again, the lighting is very poor. I appreciate you are trying to save the planet, but lets have enough light to allow me to read whilst in bed. i ended up driving to ASDA to buy a better bulb for my bed light. The room itself was pretty basic, really nothing to complain about but then again, nothing to praise either. The bathroom was ok, a little bit of mould around the shower and again, the lighting had issues. The shower screen was not fit for purpose, luckily i was a single occupant in a family room so i had spare towels to mop the floor up after each shower. In the morning, i was awaken by two beagle type dogs in the room next door. whilst i appreciate dogs are allowed to stay here, maybe, they should be accommodated around the back in their own little area. 5am dog barking is not ideal for a short break. i stayed here thinking it would be better than the Travelodge just up the road, but i think if i was to visit again, i would opt to stay elsewhere as it just wasn't what i was expecting for wedding venue class hotel. At least the Travelodge is bright and clean and a reception that is manned 24/7.

Lovely location just outside of Flint. The rooms weren't 5 star but they were great for the price clean comfortable and warm. The onsite restaurant and bar served great food and the staff were excellent.Rooms: The rooms are great for the price. Clean and tidy with everything you need for a few nights stay. The bed was comfy the bathroom was spacious with a shower and a bath. Our room had a double and a single bed which was no extra cost. My only criticism was the lighting could have been better as there wasn't a main ceiling light just 4 wall lights.Food & drinks: The food and drink we had during our visit were very good the food was extremely tasty and the portions were very good. There wasn't a massive choice on the menu but what was on there was good at a reasonable price.Noteworthy details: The staff were great we found them extremely polite and really helpful which made our stay more enjoyable.

Lovely little hotel in flint, great staff very welcoming, beds are comfortable and the bar is nice and stocked?Rooms: Rooms are spacious and clean, bathrooms are also lovely with a nice modern look.

This is an establishment where it is a bar for the public as well as for golfers.Called in for a coffee with sons for a chat. Nice coffee and friendly service.
