Lovely café with excellent home roasted coffee and good selection of sweet things! Dog friendly too. And good music!

Popped in planning to buy quite a lot of stuff for a party (cheese, booze etc.) Waited 11 minutes (i counted)at the counter while three people behind it fannied about with bits of paper so I just left my stuff on the counter and walked out. When we entered The Gourmet Pig there was a gentleman being served at the counter and one other customer seated at a table with her mother. The cafe wasn’t busy. We ordered a coffee, tea and a sausage roll, paid and were then asked to sit down “our order would be brought over to us.” Then we waited and waited and... read full comment
