Absolutely gorgeous little cafe, serving amazing coffee (one of the best I've had in a while!) and food using lots of home-grown produce. It is so serene with a private, fairytale-like garden and the staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. I would 100% recommend. Thank you and hope to visit again soon!

A gorgeous, kooky place to visit, café by day, and a cosy bistro by night. Beautifully prepared, fresh home cooked delicious food with a wonderful variety of world cuisine. Run by the most delightful manager and staff. You'll visit as a stranger and come away as a friend. You'll be made most welcome and will be eager to visit again soon. ??

We had a ridiculously good breakfast here. When we arrived with our dog, we were directed to the dog friendly 'Oasis' which is inside a shabby polytunnel. We didn't have high expectations for the food but were served two excellent gluten free breakfasts, better than we have had in 5* hotels. The coffee was also excellent. The staff were very friendly and so were the other customers. There were some gorgeous plants in the garden/greenhouse and the whole experience was lovely.

Yesterday, we enjoyed two great pizzas - really good crust and filling. We love the food at the Red Onion, and the peaceful setting. Great service, too!

Came as a group of 11 staying at the campsite. The family all made us so welcome and the cafe was delightful. Tastefully decorated and a lovely atmosphere. Food was great and prepared with care and attention to detail. Thanks so much!

Warm welcome from staff, good music, friendly atmosphere. Cheese & ham focaccia with salad delicious. Only thing negative was the dull cheese sandwich with the very tasty soup.

Great location on a high elevation above the centre of Fishguard and with easy access also from the A40 also well signed. A generous mixture of indoor, outdoor, and sheltered outdoor tables and all well chosen decor. Food is local, fresh and well cooked from an appealing menu, from brunch to main meals. The visit has promoted a decision to return soon.

Discovered this place through a facebook posting - looked great so took a drive out there from St David's for tea. Very pleasant, relaxing vibe, loved the inside dining area but decided to take tea in the outside greenhouse area which was wonderful. Staff were lovely and attentive, cakes were great, tea in a teapot with proper cups, not a teabag in a mug! Great Cappuccino too. Will definitely be back sometime to try the lunch menu.
