Stayed 1 night as we were getting ferry next day.
Broken,toilet seat, toilet flush kept running, tv remote batteries dead, replaced them myself, restaurant was closed when we tried to go to eat, but no one told us,
Room was clean and cosy though

Place is super handy, lovely staff. Food was exception. Fresh mackerel just off the boat as a starter with lovely asian style salad. Main was seabass with lobster sauce with yum veg. Desert was a cookie with ice creams, that part sounds a bit boring but it certainly wasn't, plate scraped clean. Highly recommended.

Disappointing night. Went for a treat. They seemed to be running out of everything food and drink wise. Food was not very warm and forgot to put cream with the pavlova. Substandard for the cost of the meals. Pity as it was our go to treat place but won?t be hurrying back.

I ordered 2 lamb rump pieces (i think it was lamb) and it was completely raw inside, could?ve gave me food poisoning!!!

Stopped here for dinner today. My wife and I are vegan and we were just hoping for something decent to fill our stomachs before a long journey home. What we got was so much more than that. While the menu had nothing vegan featured on it, the hostess told us she would ask the chef if he could do something special for us. The something turned into a Thai red curry and a vegetable tarte tatin. These were honestly two of the best dishes either of has eaten in years. What a masterclass in cookery! I can?t wait to come back!

Just had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Abergwaun. This must have been the fifth or sixth time I?ve had Sunday lunch and it?s always been delicious and having had Sunday lunches all over the UK over the last few years can say this is easily the best.

A racist and rude member of staff completely ruined our experience of the place on Christmas day 2024.
The food was enjoyed. Had it not been for a racist barman/waiter our experience would have been nice.
