Reported to Trading Standards Scotland. Frame broke on replacement Giant Roam 2 bike. They agreed by email & phone they would honour Giant's life time frame guarantee. Wheelies now not responding to email & telephone support have no record of claim ref num. Problem reported 20/1/2020!

I was very worried by reading almost all of these reviews about Wheelies. To be honest I've had a very good experience. Customer service was great, polite and easy to get hold of. Bike came about 4 days after order, fully built with a couple of free tools too.One thing that confused me was the bike came from E tredz so not sure weather it was from there or wheelies. Either way I'm happy

Please take note of the negative reviews as they are spot on avoid this company at all costs. I've worked in the cycle industry for the last 8 years and this is by far the worst company I've had to deal with the customer service is non existent no one answers the phone , live chat doesn't work and they don't live up to ANY of the claims made on the website. Absolute shambles of a company giving 1 star is being generous.

Avoid Wheelies at all costs. If you've been forwarded by your insurance provider ask for the cash alternative. After an accident I had to send my bike to them, it took 6 weeks to get it collected with 2 no-shows wasting my annual leave. They then had the bike for 6 months! During this time I had little to no communication, upon return it's in a worse state than when collected. Just yesterday was my 3rd ride since getting it back and the crank arm was so poorly fitted it's sheared the spline. Stock selection and prices are appalling to boot.

Really poor company. Used through Insurance claim for a new bike. The bike was poorly set up. Whilst still under warranty the brake lever and hydraulic disc calliper failed. Tried repeatedly to get a response for 6 weeks but no help or assist despite concerted effort & evidence from the bike shop.Avoid at all costs. Take the insurance pay out rather than the voucher.

Absolute joke of a company. We ordered a bike early this month and was told 8-10 working days for delivery. After this initial period ended there was no sign of the bike or any communication to explain there was a delay. Had to contact the company ourselves and was told "you need to understand there will be delays due to covid" which is already understood. Was then promised delivery by the 27th which had been and gone with no bike still. After sending numerous emails and trying to ring countless times we managed to get through to a member of staff via the phone who confirmed the bike left them on the 25th, then 5 minutes later changed his mind and said it left on the 26th without actually apologising or saying he had made a mistake. He then blamed the delivery company who proved it has only been collected by themselves today as they have tried to contact wheelies multiple times to collect the product but no luck! Didn't even receive an apology for the delay but was just told lies about when it will be delivered and picked up! Absolute joke of a company!

Shocking. Appalling. Itâ??s no wonder that their last 5 star review came over a year ago. And from the 4 x 5 star reviews they have, at least 2 they have done themselves. I have today reported them to trading standards. They happily and will fully mislead on their website knowing that they have no intention of fulfilling the order in the time frames given. As insurance companies preferred bike supplier, they couldnâ??t give a hoot about you as a customer. Placed an order for a 3-5 day delivery. After 3 days enquired as to how long it would be. Was told at least 12 days from date of order. No one thought to advise me of this. Itâ??s clear from the numerous reviews that this is the culture of the company and not just a one off. Not even an apology!! Fuming!

If you get offered either a Wheelies vouchers or a significantly less amount as a cash sum from your insurance company, take the lesser cash sum. Wheelies are absolutely horrific and really not worth the extra amount you get. Their employees give incorrect information about the bikes they sell, their courier service (TNT) is the worst out there and won't deliver the day you request, their customer service will refuse to help, they offer no free 1st year servicing like most other like shops, they not cheaper than anywhere else and refuse to price match. Good few scratches on my bike when I did finally receive it and it wasn't setup at all ie no greasing, etc. Not worth calling them as I know they won't do anything about it and no way am I going through the pain of their delivery service again so I'm putting up with it and putting out here to help others avoid these issues in future.

They sell more bike than they have in stock, expended 4K in a bike that was available and now i have to wait till June...... even worst, i found out this myself after i called (6 times) cos i didn't get any email or call from them a week after my purchase!! Appalling costumer service, 2 weeks after i still waiting for an answer..... no calls no emails, just ignored.

Absolutely appalling. Weeks and weeks of delays and BS. Lies on the phone and by email, delivery a nightmare, last minute changes. Go elsewhere if you can.

Bought a Lezyne Macro Strip Pro Drive Pair light set at the beginning of November. Charged both lights fully but didn't need them till December. The front light had held its charge fine but the rear light was completely flat. Recharged it fully but it went flat again with no use over a couple of days so spoke to Tredz who sent me a return label and promised a replacement. Three weeks later the original defective light was returned from Wheelies and was again flat and won't hold a charge. On calling, it seems whoever looked at it decided there was nothing wrong with it. I got an apology but their solution is to send it back a second time so I have to wait again without a rear light in January. Not impressed at all. The light has never been used. Would give zero stars if it was an option.
