Had my motorbike MOT here this morning and it was an excellent service from booking the appointment to riding away. I arrived early but luckily there was no one ahead of me so they just got straight on with the job. The waiting area is big enough and very clean and tidy with a couple of chairs. There are garden benches outside for better weather and a fantastic view to enjoy while you're waiting. And it passed ?

We take both our cars and my lovely 33 year old Dub campervan for services, MOTs and sundry repairs at Derwen. When we still had motorbikes, they were both MOTd there too.Ann is a diamond and so accomodating if we need anything doing post-haste. Service is great, prices are great, staff are great - what's not to like. Diolch yn fawr :-)

Caused £1300 damage to my Mercedes Sprinter during MOT and accepted liability until they couldn't diagnose or repair themselves, so they took my motorhome to a Mercedes main dealer, then refused to pay invoice for the damage they caused when they realised the cost! The MOT inspector (the proprietors son) was too busy staring at his smart phone whilst carrying out my MOT so forgot rear wheels were on pit beam jack, then tried to drive my motorhome repeatedly revving it with rear wheels spinning freely in the air, repeatedly going from forward to reverse gear (auto gearbox) in an attempt to drive it, which lit up various dash warning lights and eventually culminated in a loud PING noise! Only then did he stop trying to drive it in his confused state by which time the damage was done. Mistakes happen and a companies worth is shown by how they correct mistakes. This company proved beyond any doubt they are dishonourable, untrustworthy and downright nasty when things go pear shaped! So beware, don't be fooled by what you see, this company will behave like the worst cowboy outfit you could imagine if they mess up while your vehicle is in their possession.....
