“I enquired about a bunch of flowers I had bought from Alfi in Pontypool the previous day. I had only just put them into water and all the roses dropped and the outside leaves were falling off.I spoke to the manager at Ebbw Vale and she instantly took me over to the flowers and asked me to pick what I wanted. I offered to pay the difference but she wouldnt hear of it.I was really impressedI buy all my flowers from Aldi and normally have no complaints whatsoever.The flowers looked fine when I bought them and they were not kept out of water or left in the heat with no water, so this was unusual for Aldi's.The manager said that they should not have done that.A positive experience”

“Nice store, friendly and helpful service, easy access from car park and close to bus station, train station and taxi services also good for pound stretchers, Argos, McDonald's and aldis as well.”

“The salad bar is amazing, the service at the deli counter is good, they do a range of deli meats and different pies, there is also an active butcher in store, overall really good store nearby, we found that this was only place we could find smooth pickle jars and squuzy bottles out of all the major shops in Merthyr (even though Morrisons is in ebbw vale)”
