Been here many times, lovely food and atmosphere, excellent service, only downside is parking. I left the car at B&B and walked. Highly recommended

Charming hotel, perfectly located for exploring North Wales. The rooms are clean and beautifully maintained. The restaurant is a must try with outstanding food - we would travel there for dinner even if we weren't staying at the hotel. Just a note regarding accessibility - all bedrooms are upstairs with step access only.

Amazing hotel, very well decorated ? it feels like you?re in a medieval tavern. Just so sooo beautiful.
Rooms were super comfortable. Staff extremely polite .. it seems to be run by a family and they are incredible. Excellent location and amazing breakfast. The cost/benefit was big for me and we?ll be coming back

Just absolutely brilliant. Great food at a good price. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms. All set in an 16th century couch house. Absolutely nothing to moan about. Highly highly recommend.

We were staying in the area for 2 nights. Had dinner here on our 1st night. The food was excellent. The service was a bit slow but to be fair they were very busy that night. We actually went back the next night too as we had enjoyed the food. I had the hake wrapped in parma ham both nights...loved it!

I hate leaving a negative review, but some aspects of this place were noticeably crap - we were really disappointed.
We visited the T? Gwyn Inn after half seven hoping for a nice meal. While the food itself was genuinely fabulous (we had the trout), the overall experience was let down by shockingly poor service. Despite the pub being practically empty, it took 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, and only then did we manage to order.
Things got worse from there ? our desserts were completely forgotten, and no one came to check on us. Meanwhile, the manager stood chatting with local guests for at least 20 minutes, completely ignoring us. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers.
It?s such a shame, because the kitchen clearly knows what it?s doing, but the front-of-house service was non-existent and rude. With better staff and basic customer care, this could?ve been a great experience ? instead, we left frustrated and disrespected.

Brilliant dinner with delectable desserts for a fair price. Rooms upstairs were homely and comfortable. Service was excellent and professional. Breakfast was great with enough choice and of high quality.

Stayed for a long weekend in the stand alone cottage and hot tub.
The welcome couldn't have been better. Cottage available early and given all the information we needed. Full bag of logs for the hot tub and fire.
Very well equipped kitchen in general.
The hotel the cottage belonged to was simply a historic gem. Amazingly quaint hotel serving really good food.
The landlord was great, friendly and helpful.
Parking was available but not always free.
Will definitely be returning on our next trip to the area and can imagine the cottage would be even more cosy and welcoming in the cold winter months.
Thanks all.

Didn't stay in the hotel, just went to the restaurant. Food and beer was great. A lot if history in this building, 16th century I think. Recommend booking as it is popular.
