We stayed here in October 2024, what a beautiful place and the owners/hosts were so accomodating and friendly, even their pets were welcoming and lovely to be around.
We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for September 2025 and can't wait to return, see their progress on the works they were doing last time and of course purchase another jar of Mike's mom's marmalade, which we thoroughly enjoyed back home in Birmingham. Highly recommended, modern, extremely clean and tidy and everything needed, even the added touch of snacks within the room. Very thoughtful. We can't wait to come back xx

Spent three nights at this amazing gem of a place. Carrie & Mike were the perfect hosts, offering such a special welcome. The suite we stayed in was extremely well appointed, and I can honestly say that our bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The complimentary tray of goodies was a lovely touch, and the array of teas and coffees in the room was impressive. With so much to see and do in the immediate area, this place is great, and we definitely plan to return next year.

We had the friendliest of welcomes from the owners, and their lovely dog, Lola. We used Plas Penaeldroch as a stopover while travelling across the country. The rooms were so clean, tidy and had everything we could possibly need during our stay, with fabulous views of the countryside.
We paid extra for a cooked breakfast, which was delicious and well worth the cost. The only down point was that we only stayed for one night! We will have to return to further explore the area.
You will not regret your stay at Plas Penaeldroch Manor! Thank you for having us.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. You wont find more accommodating and friendly hosts. The rooms are homely and clean, with great amenities and great views. The breakfast was Brilliant. We loved the tour of the old house and are definitely looking forward to visiting again.

I stayed two nights in the hotel. Mike and Carrie were extremely welcoming.
We booked the suit at first floor. Rooms were spacious, clean and view from the window was amazing.
The breakfast was delicious specially the scrambled eggs. My son loved them.
Mike and Carrie are onwers of the hotel and their hospitality is amazing.
It felt us that we are living at home.
I definitely recommend the hotel.

We stayed here this weekend on a bike packing trip. The accomodation was excellent and well presented. The hosts were very helpful, helping us with advice. The breakfasts were great also, under priced if anything, if happily pay a little more.Thanks for having us

Suite was huge with 2 bathrooms with bath and walk in shower. We all slept like babies with the background noise of the water running past. Breakfast absolutely fantastic choice and the coffee was really good. Hosts very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!!Rooms: Suite huge to sleep 6. Two separate bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and sofa bed in lounge area. It was like our own apartment. Lovely fruit basket and sweets for the children was a lovely touch.

Noteworthy details: Considering this was a dog friendly hotel it was spotless clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful no faults at all.

Wonderful hotel. Mike and Carrie were really helpful, friendly hosts. There was fabulous scenery. They have a rescue collie, named Lola, who is the sweetest, friendliest dog ever. Our apartment was spotless, and the full Welsh breakfast was superb. There was tv in our own private lounge, with the customary hot drinks facilities, with fruit and sweets on the coffee table for us. I couldn't imagine what the sound of running water was, until my daughter enlightened me. It was the River Conwy outside my window. There were earplugs available for those with sensitive hearing. Mine is definitely not sensitive, but I found the sound of the gushing water quite soothing, and I slept really well. Highly recommended!Nearby activities: An ideal spot for walkers. Having no male escort with me I couldn't say if it was romantic or not, but it certainly looks it...Walkability: No lift, so the stairs were hard work with those with a disability, like myself, but manageable. I would love to visit there again.Food & drinks: Breakfast was excellent. Alcohol was available, though I didn't indulge.
