This is a hidden gem of a pub. Surrounded by easy or difficult but always breathtaking walks. A must stop when visiting coed y brenin. This pub only serves Welsh made, preservative free beers. The landlord is obviously passionate about beer. Friendly, welcoming and non judgemental, regardless how wet you or your dog is. They also serve up delicious welsh rarebit, that is so cheap it's almost offputting. Trust that they are good people, it's truly a bargain.

Located at the side of a main road through Snowdonia National Park, and not far from nearby South Snowdonia National Trust car park, we stopped by at the pub for a drink after a long walk. Great ale selection on draught, and friendly bar staff. Cannot comment on the hotel, but can certainly vouch for the special location.

This place is a hidden gem. The rooms are basic which is reflected in the price but they have everything you need and the shower is awesome, especially after a long day. In the evenings we were able to relax in the stable, plug our laptop in and plan our next adventures while enjoying dinner. There's is a pool table and dart board in the back room and we enjoyed the quiet back garden with a nice cold drink. The staff are so accommodating and friendly, they really make you feel welcome and at home. The location is beautiful and there's so much to do on the door step. We would highly recommend

Lovely inn/hotel with exceptional hosts who couldn't do enough for you. Home cooked food was really nice, especially the beef and ale pie. Good selection of local beer and lagers too.

I just had a pleasant stopover at this place! It?s super conveniently located for coed y brenin, and the prices are really reasonable. The food is homemade, simple and delicious! The owners are so characterful and welcoming.
I stayed overnight with a friend, and we had a couple of days of mountain biking. This place was perfect for us! There?s a really secure bike store with electric charging stations, which was a huge plus.
It was so great to find a place so close to the trails. It made our cycling days so much easier and more enjoyable. We had a few pints, a lovely dinner, slept like babies, and had a filling breakfast in the morning. The owner was so interesting to chat with, a great conversation with the friendly owner. After that, we headed back to the trails with our fully charged batteries. I?m already planning my next visit!

A fantastic little place with the most wonderful home style food. So comforting after most of our group had been up and down Snowden that day. Extremely friendly staff and pleasant dining area. We were staying at a cottage nearby so didn?t check out the rooms but based on the rest of the place I?m sure they are nice and well kept.

Lovely local hotel with the kindest staff, good quality rooms and welcoming atmosphere and a short drive away from gorgeous mountains. The people running it are very kind and a pleasure to talk to as well. Overall highly recommend

We were staying up the road in a National trust property and stumbled on this pub/ hotel by accident. Signage could definitely be better. It undersells itself from the outside. It has free wi-fi which is definitely a bonus as there was no signal anywhere where we were staying. A good range of beers, food limited but lots of space and a coffee shop during the day. Decor and music both dated but was warm and friendly
