Lovely cosy pub with beer garden for warmer days. Incredibly dog friendly ( snacks/bowls/beds/towels- you name it!). Delicious pizza too!

Friendly service from entering to leaving. Excellent choices on the menu I settled for the Chicken Blues Pizza and wasn't disappointed, I was actually surprised how good it tasted. I will definitely be back.

Dropped in for a spot of Lunch on Saturday, the weather was typical Welsh, spotting with rain, with occasional unenthusiastic bursts of sunshine, like a petulant teenager who didn't want to go and see anther booooooooring castle.
However the Stag was great, the service was friendly and efficient. The pizzas were outstanding, really well made and tasty.
I recommend the food , just move the whole pub to somewhere sunny and warm , like Marrakesh.
