We didn't stay here but came today with our daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren, we didn't book but we were seated anyway what can I say the food was delicious, my and my one of my grandsons had fish n chips and he finished a adult serving, my daughter had the chicken supreme my son-in-law had two starters for his main my other grandson had chicken strips and chips and the wife had chips n beans, all in all the food was great highly recommended and the service was second to none.

Dog friendly table for 2 on Sunday, lovely place! staff very attentive and the food... beautiful Sunday roast! We will definitely come again when we are in the area.

A beautiful town and the area was stunning, but didn't feel as if we experienced a taste of Wales during our stay at the Ship. The welcome was great, but we could easily have been in England and wouldn't have known the difference.

We booked for Sunday dinner choices was limited. When the meal arrived vegetables were small amount of cabbage and broccoli a roast potato and mashed all covered in gravy as someone who not keen on gravy not good. Deserts a joke!

I had an amazing stay at The Royal Ship Hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The Welsh breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the dinner was equally fantastic?truly a great dining experience. I can't wait to come back again. It?s safe to say that this hotel surpasses any other I?ve stayed in by far!
