We had four fantastic nights at the Penmaenuchaf Hall Hotel.
The room we stayed in was the Eryri suite which was newly refurbished and had a large comfy bed, fast wi-fi and a smart TV.
There was also a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities.
The breakfast and food were superb and the location fantastic.
Above all, the staff were fabulous, being so friendly and attentive.
There are walks you can take straight from the hotel itself taking in the spectacular views!
The hotel was so good, we're thinking of staying at their sister hotel in Pembrokeshire on our next visit to Wales.

The Penmaenuchaf experience was faultless. From the minute we walked through the door, greeted by Claire to the minute we left, everything was perfect. All staff were extremely efficient. The food was spectacular. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the cleanliness was excellent. We will be returning to stay again in June 2025. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one.
Rooms: We stayed in "Meirionydd," which is a Duluxe room. The room was very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The furniture, carpets, and decor were of a high standard and done very tastefully. The view from our balcony was stunning, overlooking the gardens to the rear of the property and the hills beyond.
Nearby activities: Cadair Idris is definitely worth the hike. The views from the summit are stunning. We would definitely recommend.
Food and drinks: Spectacular ?

A great place to explore from. Very welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens. The food is exceptionally good and I could write an entire review about each meal we had. We stayed 3 nights and had the bar menu (fillet steak cooked to perfection), the tasting menu, and à la carte. Each was different and perfect. Breakfasts were also delicious. The chef alone (Tom Hine) is worth the trip and I look forward to coming back!

We had a fantastic afternoon tea. Delicious sandwiches, cakes, scones and tea, with excellent attentive service. We thoroughly recommend, better afternoon tea than Fortnum and Masons!
