Well what can I say-an amazing place ?. Cream tea, with a choice of lots of different flavour scones, was delicious ?. Service was 2nd to none-even putting a candle in the scone and singing happy birthday to my hubby?. The shop is delightful and quirky (with a special mention for the Angel Adore wallpaper ?). My only regret is we didn't get to eat one of the incredible afternoon teas but I'm sure we will be back lxxx

My wife and I visited Gwyndy Tearooms for an afternoon tea this afternoon and we have to say it might have been the best afternoon tea we've ever had. If you're staying in or near Dolgellau, make sure you book in for one. All of the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Lovely people and a lovely little shop as well.

Our family had just arrived in Dolgellau when we stumbled across this lovely shop and tearooms. We had a pot of tea and some sandwiches. My wife who is gluten free had a scone. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We especially liked the proper teacups and saucers ???
We saw an afternoon tea being brought out for another customer and that looked amazing. Something we?d definitely like to try if we visit the area again.

Had an afternoon tea extravaganza at this fantastic place. The food was fresh, tasty and exceptionally good.
Service was attentive without being over bearing.
The owners are lovely people who give a warm welcome, check out their dog in the pram.
We are most definitely coming back when we visit the area again.

I shared an absolutely fabulous afternoon tea with my girlfriend for valentine's day - everything from the wonderful selection of sandwiches, scones, and cakes along with the charming atmosphere and owner was perfect!

Discovered this little gem on a trip to Wales. Andrew was very accommodating in fitting us in before we returned home. the afternoon tea was fabulous and the pots of tea endless. Had to take some with us as we couldn't eat it all. The adjoining gift shop was amazing with quirky amazing finds. We had afternoon tea at the hilton in Manchester and didn't come close to the Gwyndy Tea room

Such an amazing afternoon tea, from the moment of booking to the phenomenal food, Andrew was very professional, accommodating and knowledgeable, this was most definitely one of the best afternoon teas we have ever had, we went specifically for my fiancé's birthday and he even put birthday banners up including one in Welsh which was very thoughtful. Thank you again Andrew we will be back and certainly be recommending you ?
