This wine shop was recommended to me as a great place to enjoy a cup of tea and knit for an hour or two and it completely delivered. Downstairs there is a fantastic wine selection, as well as a lot of other goodies, and some fab seaweed gin. There's a lovely little seating area, with a really nice light and happy vibe. However it's upstairs where the magic really happens. Climb twisting stairs to discover a maze of tiny rooms, each beautifully appointed with sofas, armchairs and all sorts of unique little bits - including a spinning wheel! I discovered this place by accident but it is easily the most neuro divergent friendly cafe/bar I have ever been too. The little rooms allow a degree of quiet, and help reduce the noise and stimulation normally associated with such a nice cafe. Absolutely blown away by the difference the little rooms make, it's nice for anyone, but for those looking to find somewhere suitable to visit with an autistic friend/family member, it is perfect. The staff are also really lovely, and really keen to accommodate. Would highly recommend.

Popped in today for a coffee. Absolutely lovely place. We live the other side of Bala and will definitely return. Delicious coffee. Friendly staff and a lovely range of products. Great range of pastas to stock the cupboard. Extraordinary range of wines. Enjoyed a delicious Rose from Provence in our vegetable garden this evening. Will definitely return. Our new go to place!

Great shop. Visited today and sat outside with a fine local bitter. Guy in the shop (whose name I didn't catch) was extremely pleasant, polite and helpful.

My wife and I came here to buy Welsh whiskey. The lady working here helped us out with different descriptions even though she wasn't very fond of whiskey herself. She let my wife try 3 different bottles they had open and was overall extremely friendly and welcoming. We talked about our holidays and she drew us a tour on a piece of paper of places, she thought we might like. She also handed us a a sheet of paper with all the places who have food around in the area. What a nice shop to visit and have a chat. Of course we bought the whiskey here. Thank you!

More than just a wine shop...although they really know their stuff. Stock some fab Welsh wine along with a fullsome old and new world selection. We also targetted a Friday night evening drink in the wonderful spaces upstairs. Fine selection of wines and sharing plates/nibbles. You can also choose from the retail selection with some corkage. We had a brilliant evening and would highly recommend Gwin Dylanwad Wine to anyone staying in Dolgellau or passing through and wondering where they can buy excellent and well priced wine for a stay in North and Mid-Wales.

A totally unique experience. Excellent selection of wines with the staff providing a very knowledgeable service. On our first visit we bought a lovely little wine to enjoy in their private rooms upstairs. We returned to buy a selection of wines. Welsh sparkling is very highly rated so we bought a bottle plus a nice smooth Welsh Pinot Noir.If you?re in town you can?t miss this place.

Good to finally get here. Dolgellau often bypassed due to tight streets and limited parking.Back on subject, good selection of wines, some off the beaten track, something for everyone.Good advice/chat available.Oh, and the coffee is V-good... the first/only place in UK that I have been offered a glass of water with my espresso.
