I?ve been using the Denbigh branch for a few years now and the quality of service is why I always return. My optician Hannah is excellent and explains everything so clearly. The other staff are friendly and professional too, explaining all aspects of the other tests (peripheral and pressure) clearly. They have a great choice of frames to choose from and my glasses are always ready in less time than quoted!Just to add i?d on this occasion rang in need of an emergency appointment and was pleased I could be seen the next day.

Amazing!!!, so I was up all threw the night with eye swelling and agonising pain, I waited until the pharmacy was open in the morning, they advised I go to hospital,I phoned this store on the off chance they would help save a day in hospital, told them my symptoms and awaited a call back, within 5 mins I was contacted and told to get straight to them, had a full eye examination, and was very lucky , I had quite a big piece of metal in my eye, I thought this would then mean a trip to an eye hospital but no all done at the store , after removel we talked threw aftercare etc, I felt that looked after I spent a little money in the shop and got a new pair of designer glasses haha , I would like to thank the manager for getting this promptly taken care of and the staff helping me pick out new frames, see you again soon thanks.

Excellent service at Denbigh. The person on the phone was very efficient in triaging and letting me have an emergency appointment the next day. The staff and the optician were very thorough in the tests done and explained everything. Very reassuring and excellent service.

If i could give a negative star rating i would. I have been with Spec Savers for over 20 years in various locations i have lived, never a problem. Some how Denbigh get my account and nothing but issues, rude and un-professional, cancelled appointments and when i asked "what can you do to sort out my tests when you cancelled it yet again. I was told "you could just go somewhere else". Shocking

Whilst my actual eye test was thorough and I would have given 5 stars, subsequent service was appalling, very poor.I asked for a copy of the prescription to take away; when I got home and looked at it, I saw that my address was incorrect and my name misspelled.I rang the Denbigh branch and explained to the young man who answered what had happened and requested that the errors be corrected and a new copy of the prescription posted to my (correct) home address.He replied that he couldn't do that as it's not S/Savers policy to post prescriptions - in case they fall into the wrong hands and for reasons of data protection!?!I replied that I did not want to make a special journey into Denbigh to come to S/Savers and that I don't come into town very often these days, he refused to budge repeating what he said before and added that the 'script also had to be signed by the optician. When I pointed out that it had already been signed off once, he replied she had to sign it whilst I was presentIf this is supposed to be good customer service, SpecSavers needs to seriously think about the messages this behaviour sends out.I'm a 64 year old woman, I live out in the countryside and am very anxious about Covid-19.I am avoiding public spaces as much as possible but have just been told by this rather abrupt young man, that I have to come in to pick up a piece of paper because THEY made a mistake and THEY don't trust the postal service to deliver to my home address!I am NOT happy about this - SpecSavers should at least have offered the option of posting my 'script, to quote data protection as the reason for not using the postal service, is ridiculous when other organisations use mail as one of the most secure ways to deliver items.My lesson learned is I should have checked the prescription before leaving the shop.I will NOT use them again.
