Lovely atmosphere and service couldn't be better. Starters were lovely but when we got to the mains the beef tasted like cold soil, roasted potatoes were cold with a side of gravy that tasted like soap. Pub with no ketchup is diabolical. Cider kept us going. overall hit and miss

Stumbled across this place and decided to book for Sunday Lunch. The pork was gorgeous and so tasty, seasoned really well .
We had the apple pie for dessert which was something else best dessert I?ve had in a long time , thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal and it was very reasonably priced .

Deeply disappointed. Was also shocked to see a hygiene rating of 1. I had been really looking forward to taking my Dad here post good reviews but extremely let down His pork belly was extremely fatty and not well cooked. The advertised crackling soggy as a result.

A very disappointing Friday afternoon at the Glynne.
We had booked as a treat for our friends but we we're totally embarrassed by the whole experience.
The pub was very quiet but we waited far to long for our orders to be taken. We then waited 40 minutes for our food.
The children's goujons were totally burnt and my friends burger was cold with a piece of soggy Lettuce on top that had clearly been reheated. We sent them back but the meal replacements had still not arrived by the time we had all finished so they were cancelled.
The manager explained they were a chef down. Why weren't we informed about this when placing our order?
4 people in our group had asked for ketchup. One jam jar with a tiny bit of sauce was delivered, no spoon to even get it out.
We complained about the meals and as a way of an apology we were offered complementary desserts.
We were told not to order the apple pie as it would take 20 minutes so the children ordered the sticky toffee pudding. These took even longer to arrive (30 minutes) and they came out in scolding hot bowls.
We were totally shocked that children's desserts had been delivered in these burning hot bowls.
None of our party will be returning.

I only had soup and it was awful .No flavour to it at all .Just like a thick cream mushroom. Should have sent it back .I said to the young man when he came . Please bring back the tomato one

Food is absolutely sensational! Every mouthful brings out new flavour. I might sound dramatic, but I am visiting from Australia and this is the best food I've had in the UK so far ?
I had the duck confeit. The pork and apple sausages my partner ate were also excellent
