Really nice pub, off the beaten track but well worth visiting. The first person I met was John the landlord who introduced himself and pointed out the Wrexham Lager that I selected and I wasn't disappointed. Very nice pint indeed. A few minutes later I was introduced to the landlady and chef, Pat, who asked if I wanted to order food as everything is freshly prepared and cooked and pointed out the menu choices available that day. I chose the Chicken Melt, fillets of chicken in a barbeque sauce topped with melted cheese that came with chips and peas. The meal arrived around 20 minutes later, generous portions and absolutely delicious. If I hadn't been so full I would have had the same again!

Very polite staff and cheap food and drink, they also host live music which is a nice touch. It would be nice if more people support this venue as it's a hidden gem

We come here all the time it is an amazing place. 10/10 would reccomend coming here. The staff are all very kind and friendly.
