My wife and I ate here yesterday evening. We were greeting and offered the choice of tables: the bar, the restaurant or outside. The staff here are very attentive and helpful. The food skilfully is prepared. The Eton mess to die for. Altogether we really cannot fault this place and look forward to visiting again in the future when we are in the area. Thank you guys

We went to the Blue Lion to have dinner. The booking in advance through the Internet went well. The service is very good and we felt very well looked after. The menu is sufficient and the prices are reasonable. The taste of the food was delicious and for us the quantity was fairly enough. We had the choice to have our meal in the pub or in the very nice dining area. Without any doubt, we would like to recommend the Blue Lion for a drink at the bar or for a meal!

Found this place on Google maps. Really good friendly staff. Couldn?t do more for you but not over familiar. Good beers and extensive wine and spirit choice. Food was excellent and willing to change the menu to suit. Even the locals were friendly.
Would definitely recommend it. They have good accommodations too

We decided to book here on the fly. I was entertaining close family friends front China.
Its a lovely restaurant that uses local produce. I had the 8 Oz steak cooked to medium rare, and it was delicious, pink in the middle.
My friend had the beef and noodles, again really good but portion could have been a bit bigger.
Oh the chips are to die for BTW.
Would I go again. Well the problem is its a bit off the beaten track in deepest Denbighshire and it would have to be really special for that.

Great accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the comfy bed! Price is slightly high, in my opinion. But we did love our short stay there.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The staff were unpleasant and unwelcoming ? I genuinely felt judged during my visit. I didn?t catch any names, but the two young lads behind the bar seemed like they?d just had a fight. The way they were speaking to each other was completely inappropriate for a workplace and definitely not something I wanted to overhear as a customer.
On top of that, one of them was downright rude to me. I considered raising it with the manager, but was told she wasn?t available. I had expected much better after seeing other reviews online, but my experience was the complete opposite. Is this really the standard of professionalism you're allowing from your staff? Honestly disappointed.

Lucy and the team did us proud with a wonderful selection of hot meals and desserts for 15 people. We had a lovely evening and a private room. All the food came out roughly at the same time , We were very comfortable and well attended to in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere

We were staying at a cottage in the village and my brother and I visited the pub (a few times). Proper pub, really welcoming with great staff and the locals were so friendly. Hopefully we?ll come back soon.

Great service and amazing food.
Visited Sunday as a group. We were all very happy with the Blue Lion.
