This is now our second visit to the Upper Cock, first time was for Sunday lunch, second time was a Saturday evening meal. The menu has such a great variety, but also cooked to an amazing standard, portion sizes are more than what we expected, so also gives you great value for money. Staff are very friendly, and efficient, and always has a great family friendly atmosphere, we will definitely be visiting more, it's well worth the 15 minute walk for us to be able to enjoy a nice drink, excellent food in a great atmosphere.

This was a fantastic place to eat but unfortunately the new owners have let standards fall so quickly in the few weeks. I will not be going there again.

We had our Sunday lunch here. Reasonably priced 2 or 3 course options, with generous kids portions too.
Staff were excellent! Really helpful and with a smile, every one of them. A real credit to the pub.
Food was good. Veg a bit overcooked, but all tasty.
We took our cheesecake home as were full, that was a nice treat for supper ??

We loved our visit today what a lovely place to come and eat! We brought our dog too! We had roast dinner which was beautiful really hit the spot. All staff were so very friendly we will definitely be back!

Lovely clean pleasant place with nice friendly staff. Great atmosphere lovely food we had 3 courses Soup ? Turkey Sunday lunch and dessert the food it was delicious. It is also dog ? friendly.
Parking: There is a car park but also parking on street outside

I had my dad's wake here. The service was brilliant right through from the moment I rang to book it. The buffet was amazing with great tasting food and plenty of it. I highly recommend it here and will definitely be going back to try their meals.

Huge meals superb quality and worth paying that extra bit more than the local chain pub, proper quality home cooked meals with great service.
