We highly recommend Specsavers, we live in Canada and travel to the UK to come and get our eyes tested and to get new glasses. The service is amazing we get our glasses within days compared to waiting up to 8 weeks here in Canada and for the subscription to be wrong. The staff at Cwmbran are so friendly. After using spec savers in another town and being left disappointed I used Cwmbran store, what can I say apart from amazing Customer service!! They sorted someone?s else?s mess out and all staff are friendly\\nA massive thank you to Rachel and the gentleman who helped fit my new glasses (free of charge I may add due to previous glasses not fitting correctly) I won?t be going any else in the future that?s for sure ? thank you x

Specsavers Cwmbran has always provided me and my family with excellent service for both glasses and contact lens. During the past few years I was advised that I had a Cataract developing in my right eye. The situation was deteriorating quite quickly and I was placed onto annual eye tests. In recent months the condition worsened and it was impacting on my quality of life.\\nI received fantastic support from Specsavers who supported me to treat the problem. Detailed examinations were undertaken and a referral letter issued for my Doctor. I opted to receive treatment privately due to extended waiting times for NHS services. My cataract operation was quickly completed at St. Joseph?s Hospital by Mr. M Majid and I am delighted with the result.\\nFollowing my surgery Specsavers stepped in yet again to carry out detailed tests to measure my improved vision to provide feed back to my Consultant. Every thing was extremely positive and my vision is now brilliant.\\nI want to take this opportunity to thank Specsavers Cwmbran and its fantastic team for their support during my recent work and for the service I have received from them for many previous years??thank you so much.

While having an eye test on Sunday 3rd April it was discovered that I had a partially detached retina, a visit to The Royal Gwent that evening confirmed this. Less than 18 hours later I am having surgery to repair the detachment at UHW. I cannot thank Morgan the optician enough for finding the detachment and potentially saving my sight. I'm forever grateful. You are all amazing humans.

New frame and lenses were delivered on time.Had to have the right frame adjusted slightly (too tight) otherwise very pleased.

If you?re a contact lens newbie, don?t expect customer satisfaction as they don?t have the time or patience to deal with you. Both my husband and I experienced the same patronising staff member on the first visit, however, thankfully on the second was someone different and very helpful so we were really happy to continue BUT unfortunately on our third and what we hoped would be our final visit to complete the monthly delivery subscription service, to our absolute disappointment it was the same staff member as we had on our first visit. The same patronising remarks were the answers to our questions, and the final ?like I told you before, if you remember? ended with us walking out with no subscription and no one else ?available? to speak to about our experience in the hope of having another member of staff to complete. What an absolute shambles! No customer service, no customer value, just a total waste of time! I would definitely not recommend Specsavers Cwmbran.

Worst customer service i have had in past 10 years. First thing didnt deliver my kit on time, then try giving me wrong prescription until i receive my delivery. Told them to send my delivery overseas, gave them address. Its been 7 weeks. When called them they say it has been posted and will take time, dont keep calling as we will not know.I got my other parcel in 3 days, i feel like being completely ignored. Never going back there again..

I have been attending Specsavers for 25 years now. Cwmbran branch since it opened. I?ve always received the best care and attention! Following recent eye concerns which later resulted in extensive emergency surgery I?m extremely grateful to the team at Specsavers Cwmbran for how swiftly they detected my detached retina! They Referred me immediately and it was their swift action that actually saved my sight, not to mention the amazing surgeon at the Ophthalmology department at the heath hospital in Cardiff. Always so friendly and comforting! Very welcoming and helpful. Even in assisting me post surgery when I requested a scan for piece of mind. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you so much for your amazing service as always. You?re a wonderful team of humans! :-)

Used to be quite good but it has changed. Staff need training in speaking clearly, politely (definitely avoid snide comments), providing information and assistance to customers, and not making customers wait (20-30 min waiting is too long). I?ll be going elsewhere in the future but do hope this shop returns to its previous higher standards.
