Somebody PLEASE go and sort the screaming door out it's been going on for weeks. Your poor staff! It drives me mad when I go shopping I can't imagine working with that noise all day. Other than that, good shop.

Good service but range a little limited on some food lines due to store size. There have been stock issues of late it seems with lots of things out of stock - mostly own brand as people look to save money I suspect. Recent visits have been a lot better - much better stock altogether - good news.

Excellent site in middle of Cwmbran and very easy to access. Ample parking, level site, disabled and mum & kids spaces. Always well stocked, clean, and lovely staff. Not the biggest Sainsbury's but that works to it's advantage. Petrol station on site too which is very handy and always competitively priced.

Having recently moved to Cwmbran from Newport i find this store very poor compared to Newport store.
We always got to ask for the organic milk. Always in fridge out back and never on shelf. Often no fresh bakery items early afternoon. It really is a run down store.
I'm not a lover of the discount stores and prefer to shop in the main line stores. I much prefer travelling the 7 minutes to Tesco in Pontypool which is always well stocked. Shame really as this Sainsbury's could be a good store with better management.

Heroes still exist, and today we met one: Sainsbury?s employee Val! My foolish boyfriend killed the car battery while I was shopping, and we were looking at a several-hour wait and goodness-knows how much cost to have a mechanic come out and fix it. But then Val - kind, helpful Val, took the time and effort to go above and beyond to save our evening. Best Sainsbury?s. Best staff. Val. Thank you.

Idk if it's recently under new management or something but in the last few months the shelves are barely stocked, the hot food counter is gone, and staff completely ignored my mates waiting for a till
Completely downhill, big shame. I'll be going elsewhere to stores that at least actually stock their shelves

Lack of stock run down in general.
After several more visits to this store I have decided to go to Newport Sainsbury's in future.
My last visit no tills open very limited stock, a manager who was at best surly at worst rude all because I wanted to go through a till not self check out, it seems it's too much to expect a till to be open it took nearly an hour to get a till to be opened, very very poor customer service with staff seemingly unable to operate a till.
The only upside was the lovely lady on security who doesn't even work for Sainsbury's.
This store is not worth going to any more it's quicker to go to Newport and you get more choice.
