Used to come here as a child with my Nan and walking in here today feels like nothings changed but I think that?s what made it so popular. But it seems no one cares anymore to put effort into it. The lady?s serving could barely hold a sentence she literally fell asleep she was that uninterested in taking my order. The breakfast was literally swimming in oil. Thought my sausage was gonna need a rubber ring it was like something off the titanic. The hash brown was that burnt and tasted of dirty oil. You bit into a mushroom and oil filled your mouth. I?m surprised Russia hasn?t declared war on this place for how much oil they?ve got. The large breakfast is not large it?s two of everything. A sausage sandwich we was charged £8 and when queried was told it was because it was toasted so more expensive.

The spicy morrocan lamb was tasty , but we couldn?t discern any lamb, and our elderflower drinks were so full of ice there was about room for 3 swigs!

Dreadfully long wait for a roast dinner. One was sent out and we then waited 15 mins for the other 2 roasts.Though when they arrived they were nice traditional dinners. At the time we were there 12.45 The lady doing roasts was also having to do the puddings. When I was saying to the young male server that they needed someone doing puddings an older lady who appeared to be supervising and serving very crossly said no we don't. They were very busy but someone coukd have briefly stepped in to do puddings. She may have worked there a long time but her attitude was bad and shows a lack of respect for the customers. This older lady really needs customer training.Decor is definitely very dated in fact the wallpaper dates back to the 1970s when I used to call in everyday for their lovely milky coffee. Though the paper has been painted.

Used to be such a lovely cafe. But I had to wait over 3/4 hr for my roast beef, staff more interested in doing the takeaways and customer in the cafe are left waiting ages, gone really downhill won?t be coming here again!

A well established business and one of the few places to go for a proper cooked dinner. They use fresh vegetables. We love the corned beef pie. The decor is dated as are the toilets. Sometimes it is too hot and airless but there is some seating outside. Staff obliging.Prices reasonable. The small breakfast is great.Parking: Parking in a choice of mulistory car parks.

My elderly father and I have been going to Rabaiotti?s Cwmbran for many years and have found both the food and service to be generally very good. However of late the service and the presentation of the food has fallen quite sharply. I had to wait nearly 30 minutes for a small cooked breakfast ( this wasn?t the first time) and when I finally received it, it was cold and thrown on the plate without any regard for its presentation. There are so many other eateries now in Cwmbran that unless they pull their socks up it will close which would be very sad having been established since 1959.
