Only 1 member of staff serving and around 15 customers in the queue behind me. It hits 5:25 and the staff member just says "I'm going home now" and tried to walk off and leave the queue. The queue rightly challenged her in stating the closing time is 5:30. She returns to the queue and slowly serves 2 more people. Then walks off at 5:30. No effort to stop people queueing that they had no intention of serving and there were other members of staff hiding in the back area.

I had an absolutely shocking experience on Tuesday July 25th.I took an international parcel to Cwmbran post office and I was told that I can?t send it because it is medium size.The parcel was International tracked and the size is classed as a ?small parcel? which was total 79cm (It is a medium size if it?s domestic one, but because it?s international it?s classed as a small parcel).The counter staff measured and said it?s too big. I had a measuring tape with me so I showed how big the parcel was. And it was 24cm + 24cm + 31cm =79cm.I asked her ?It?s 3 dimensions right?? and She said ?No it?s 4?This really surprised me as I?ve never heard of measuring 4 dimensions before, so I read out what the Royal mail website says:Small parcel(International Parcel)?- No one dimension can exceed 60cm?- Length + width + depth must be no more than 90cmShe still didn?t understand. I asked if she understood what this sentence means. She said ?Yes, I understand but the parcel is too big?She obviously has no understanding of how this works, which quite honestly is unbelievable.To make matters even worse, her attitude was very rude and childish. She would not listen and kept saying:?If you insist, I?ll take your parcel but if it gets damaged it?s your responsibility??Take this parcel to another post office or royal mail and they will say the same thing?What made things even worse is that one of the other counter staff were agreeing with her.To say that I?ve had nothing but bad experiences with Royal Mail and The Post Office would be an understatement, whoever is in charge of the Cwmbran area really needs to look in the caliber of people you hire and their subsequent training.I would very much like to get a response from whoever is in charge of your customer satisfaction department.

Absolutely shocking experience with this post office. I took in a parcel to be delivered and was asked if it was worth money ect to which i responded with yes it is a phone and how much it was worth. I then said that I didn?t need to pay as I have a pre paid postage sticker on the front. The lady behind the desk took it in and gave me a receipt. I thought nothing of it until the person receiving the parcel didn?t get it. I used the receipt with the tracking number on for DPD and it was not recognised it turns out the lady sent it as DPD when the label says DHL. I went back to the store to try and locate my parcel and was met by such rude staff. Implying that I?m incapable she began to fill in the tracking numbers on DPD and DHL which i already told her i have tried and when it didn?t work proceeded to shrug her shoulders and tell me there was nothing she could do. I said I was going to the depot for both company?s and rang the next day stating that neither post office has my parcel, I then stated I will file a police report to which i was laughed at.I am actually appalled by the staff members of this company with the rudeness and arrogance, they should not be allowed to work with people as they clearly don?t know how to handle situations. Will never be returning to this post office and I would advise anyone else not to or they will loose your parcel.

Absolutely terrible experience yesterday. I paid for postage online for a small parcel. I omitted to put in weight. The young assistant refused the parcel despite being paid for, saying that it needed to be printed and therefore, vicariously paid for again, I stead of writing the correct weight on to it. Unhelpful jobsworth. Will not be going there again.
