What a pleasure to deal with helpful understanding staff. The team in Cwmbran went above and beyond to rectify a partial click and collect delivery for me. I cannot speak highly enough of their helpful attitude and they are a credit to HMV. What a pleasant experience for a change!! Well done them!

One of my favourite shops but unfortunately every time me and my best friend go in we are watched and followed by the exact same guy it. every time before we go in he?s always stood at the entrance and pays no attention to anyone else but the second we come in he?s automatically ?busy?. We?ll be looking at something and all of a sudden he has to refold the clothes that are behind us. The one time we weren?t followed as we went to the back of the shop to look at pens while he was at the front he stared back at us every two seconds. At first I thought it was because we are teenagers and I can understand that since teenagers have a reputation of misbehaving , acting very disrespectful or stealing despite the fact we?ve never done anything like that. Today though it was only me and my mother. We were picking up birthday presents for my friend when the same guy kept watching our every move and when we move he seemed to follow and continue to watch. At one point we went over to one of the shelves that he was behind (the one that he seemed to be watching us from though he could have actually have been busy this time) and as we were looking another worker went behind one of the shelves behind us and when my mother bent down to pick something up she kept moving her head around to try get a good look at what my mother was holding as if she were trying to steal it despite the other worker also being directly in front of us. It may not sound like that big of a deal but they were the only two workers in the floor at the time and despite there being many other people in the store at the time it was us they decided to target. We got so uncomfortable with being laser focused on we had to leave. I understand that they have to be sure that no one?s stealing but the one guy only seems focused on people not stealing when we walk in.

Good choice of stuff. The 2 magazines I wanted we in a state all crumpled and used looking. Asked the guy behind the counter if he has any fresh copies out the back and he looked at me like I was asking him for money. Totally unhelpful and couldn't be arsed. Terrible service. How they expect people to buy collector magazines in that condition is beyond me.

My son bought a mystery box for £15 which is supposed to be valued at £30, what a joke. I wouldn't pay £5 for what he had in it. All hmv said was that they were sorry I was disappointed, that's an understatement. unless they can guarantee the merchandise they put in the boxes is of value then they shouldn't do them. It was an absolute load of rubbish.

HMV is within a pedestrian town centre with a large free parking area. As with all other hmv's, there is a great selection of products. It wasn't too busy, which I prefer. There's also lots of other shops you can visit at the same time.
