? possibly the worst bank you can bank with. With high street branches being closed all over the country, the ones that are left are a joke. No ability to pay off your mortgage in branch, and a mortgage advisor appointment via zoom, and a phone service where you are greeted by someone who can barely speak English after waiting for god knows how long for an answer. it?s truly laughable! Two members of staff in branch, only one of which serves you and the other is only there to get you to assist yourself. If they could avoid employing that second person then they absolutely would if it weren?t for health and safety reasons no doubt. Cut backs after cut backs, all so they can force you online, stop using cash so that they can see what you?re using your money on and maximise profits. I sincerely hope that this company goes bankrupt. Good riddance to it too!

We?ve just completed on our first home with a Halifax mortgage. Bethan at the Cwmbran branch was brilliant throughout the process, especially as first time buyers who asked a lot of (probably stupid) questions. Highly recommended ?

Just visited Cwmbran branch.. Opened 3 minutes late. No apology. Staff are rude, unprofessional, unfriendly, unhelpful ignorant and scruffy. They have no pride in their job or personal appearance??absolute disgrace

Absolute waste of time depositing cash in here! Six staff stood around with no cashier booths open. Got told to put cash in the cashing in machine and only accepts 50 notes at one time. Don't waste your time with this bank, just go to the post office instead!

Just went into Halifax in Cwmbran and said I?m looking to pay money in and I want to use the till to speak to a person, the women?s response you are speaking to a person, I was like wow! She said you can use the machine I said that isn?t speaking to a person! I just walked out absolutely unbelievable.. rude

Tried ringing there 034 number ,I'm sorry not being derogatory I couldn't understand the person on the other End at all..and hardly hear them.They said well ring you back,that didn't Happen, and they ask at the start of call would you give a review of out services "Yes! at the end of the not being able to understand the guy on the other end ,that option wasn't given!I wonder Why?!.So i had to resort to going into the Cwmbran Branch... I don't like or want to be doing Online Banking, and because I couldn't remember my password they couldn't help . I was given the Savings 0345 number 5 mins on to them get were busy message then cuts of what a Nightmare
