I ordered last night at 6
40pm, website said '45 minutes ' my confirmation said 7.26pm. At 8.15pm I rang to be told my food was in the kitchen being prepared. Still nothing at 9pm so rang again to be told it was out for delivery. The stone cold food arrived at 9.20pm. NEVER

Would leave zero stars if I could.
Ordered early, no confirmation received.
Called to be told "our systems are down", and "I'll get a refund". If the systems are down it's strange how they still managed to take my money.
Not the first time this has happened, taking my custom elsewhere.

Ordered from here at 5 it's now 8 no sign of food nobody answering phone it seems they've done this to a few people thankfully it was cash so haven't lost out. Ordered something else now so if it turns up they can do one.

Ordered food at 4pm to be delivered at 7pm. My food never arrived and they would not answer the phone, after 2 hours I drove down to the restaurant to be told my food was out for delivery, I went back home and waited another 45 minutes, still nothing so i drove back down and they had stopped cooking and told me there was nothing they could do and I had to request a refund through uber. Uber told me that my order was ineligible for a refund. I went through PayPal and got my money back after a month. I will never use this place again. Absolutely disgusting service and just blatantly stealing people's money.

Ordered last night, kept telling us it was coming. 3 hours later still nothing. No apologies when we rang just kept being told it was still coming. Never got our Chinese!

Order Crispy Shredded Chicken. It was rock hard. Felt like batter only and no chicken.
Half my order was missing (two chicken ball, rice, chips and sauce trays)
Called the restaurant they sent them out straight away but still forgot the sauces.
So disappointed.

I've been a loyal customer of Chans for years, and I've always praised their food, especially the Kung Pao, which is hands down my favourite. The flavors are incredible, and the quality of the dishes is consistently 10/10. However, I regret to say that my recent experiences have been disappointing.
In the past few months, I've noticed a significant decline in service. My last three orders took between 1.5 to 2 hours to arrive, and each time I had to follow up multiple times just to check on the status. On one occasion, after waiting an hour and a half, I called only to be told they had no idea when my order would be sent out. I ultimately had to go pick it up, which meant we ordered at 7:30 PM but didn't eat until 10 PM. Additionally, one order was missing an item, which was delivered later but couldn?t be enjoyed with the meal.
I also had a frustrating experience when I visited the restaurant for a drink. I waited 10 minutes in line with only one person ahead of me, and it was frustrating to see the staff member taking such a long time to prepare a single bubble tea. When it was finally my turn, the employee informed me that my drink would take 15 minutes to make. Waiting 25 minutes for one drink, especially after such a long queue, felt outrageous, so I decided not to order.
While the food continues to be exceptional, the delivery and service experiences have made it difficult to justify ordering from Chans anymore. It?s truly a shame, as I have always enjoyed the food here and appreciated the quality. I want to emphasise that my feedback is in no way a reflection of the chefs?they deserve all the praise! I hope the service can improve, but unfortunately I?m not sure I?ll be ordering anytime soon.

Disgusting Used to be one of the best around. Did an even have napkins. Told me to throw my rubbish outside in the bin ? The prawn crackers they were getting them out of a big black bin bag and put in them into seafru bags ??

Chips were like floor sweepings, Hong Kong style sweet and sour was awful too. The chicken is supposed to be completely marinated and covered with sauce, but mine looked like chicken nuggets with some sauce drizzled over the top. Maybe it was a bad night for then but the last time for me.
