Ethan in your cwmbran store provided outstanding service today. We was purchasing a shed on your website and I can get a discount via my employer so purchased a £1000 voucher only to realise the shed was provided by a third party supplier and you then can?t use a voucher -so we were in a situation where we had a £1000 voucher but couldn?t use it for the shed. Ethan went above and beyond to find us a shed that we could use our voucher with. We were so grateful for his time and patience. He actually works on show room for kitchens,so to provide the level of help he did for a shed was so kind of him.

Bought some tiles, didn't check them. DOH! When unpacking found one broken. Returned to store, Jason was brilliant, no quibble replacement. High five.

Bought a kitchen from here and had real problems with a drawer unit, spoke to Ethan and he suggested we take it in and they would help us put up together. we took it in and I really can't praise Chris highly enough, he didn't even work on the kitchen department but set to making up the unit and putting in the drawers, he did it with good grace, good humour and nothing was too much trouble, the best customer service ever, thank you Chris, you are a real asset to your store.

We visited B&Q today to get ideas on wallpaper & panelling options. Darren came to assist and he was fantastic, for someone who works in customer service it was so refreshing to see this level of service today. We didn?t buy anything today, as we need to do measurements but we will definitely be back and asking for his help again. Thank you Darren, credit to B&Q.

Today was the second time in a week I visited store. The first time took me 20 minutes to get through tills due to lack of staff and only 1 self service till open.
Today I wanted a few bags of sharp sand and expanding foam.
Only 1 till open so I went through the self service till next to the manned one. Needed authorisation for the expanding form. However 1 guy on till just looked at me stupid. He then asked the other guy who was stood looking at me to sort it. He replied I can't. I take it he's not 18. Another guy who worked there just looked and walked passed me. Absolute joke of a place. Totally and inadequately under staff and ones that are there dint know what they are doing. I told guy on till I got to go and cannot wait. He just said ok. Couldn't have cared less.
I phoned customer services to complain of my experience and they too couldn't care less. Just said I should have asked for manager. I popped in quickly on way to pick my granddaughter up from nursery and could not wait. Besides that why should a manager be called just to buy sand and expanding foam.
On the plus side though sharp sand in there was £3.47 I later stopped off in local builders/ timber yard in Croesyceilolg a few minutes away and paid £2 a bag. I am just at the start of a major house renovation and will use the local builders yard in the future and save myself a fortune.
I will never set foot in Cwmbran B&Q again.

Conflicting information. One member of staff assured me that different Valspar paints could be mixed to achieve desired shade, another then acted confused when I asked her to do so, and asked her very rude colleague about this who spoke to me with a sharp attitude.

Fantastic service from the girl on the paint mixing desk. Tiana (apologies if I?ve misspelt the name). I had a previously purchased tin of Valspar that needed remixing plus I couldn?t remove the lid. She was extremely patient and m very grateful for her help

Just finished having a kitchen fitted bought from B&Q Cwmbran.
Fabulous service from start to finish.
I was slightly nervous to start with having to measure up myself for my first appointment but the staff assured me everything would be fine because, once ordered, the fitter would come out to double check my measurements.
This turned out to be invaluable because my measurements were two and a half inches out and certain cupboards wouldn't fit.
Tony, the fitter, advised me accordingly and the staff in store made the necessary changes.
From the point of order everything fell into place.
The staff triple checked my design to make sure I was happy, everything turned up on time and Tony turned up at exactly the time scheduled.
There was one hicup with a drawer that wasn't put on the order but Tony immediately got on the phone and the item I needed was delivered the following day and fitted.
Tony was a great guy. Extremely professional, knew exactly what he was doing and always cleared up after himself.
I have no hesitation in recommending B&Q and look forward to a bathroom being installed in the future.

Late on Sunday I caught the last half hour of the store and was pretty flustered over what I needed but a young lad on the paint station went above and beyond to help with everything from brushes, paint and the corrrect tape. I'm so happy! Thank you so much
