Lovely hotel, really good place. Atmospheric.Warm and comfortable on a snowy morning in early March. Car park entrance is a challenge!

We stayed only for one night in Family Studio Suite. Room was super clean and spacious.Pub is busy at evening so book your table beforehand. Dinner was nice with great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended!Car park is free but you need to squeeze through narrow lane to get to the back of the hotel.Rooms: Family Studio Suite, 2 Bedrooms

Was working near and needed two rooms for a couple of nights. Lovely little town and the pub is right in the middle of it all.On arrival we couldn?t park our van in there parking due to height restrictions and narrow alley. We parked outside on the street after 6pm-8am for free but it?s very limited parking..If you park on the street between 8am-6pm you can only park for an hour then no return within an hour however there is a pay and display car park up the road.Rooms were clean and comfortable, one room was in the main building and had no issues. Then my room was in the building out the back, I was on the ground floor and could hear people walking up/down the stairs and above me because of very creaky floor boards, then people pulling flushes, taps etc was rather noisey too. Apart from that couldn?t fault my room.Evening food was nice, breakfast however needs improvement. We only had breakfast one of the mornings and that was egg on toast, the toast needed butter and the egg was bland and didn?t taste of anything.. The presentation was there not the flavour unfortunately.

Room small, meant to be twin room but barely any room to manoeuvre around it. Couldn't actually open the wardrobe bar a few inches.Noisy room, woken early by generator starting up in the morning.Manageress needs to brush up on her customer service too. Not much in the way of Christmas cheer! Also had a meal, rather sloppy lasagne. Rather disappointing all round.Disappointed to see no reply to my post. Clearly ignoring the poor quality offered. Maybe don't use rooms too small for their purpose. Money over quality.

Fantastic evening meal here for a group of 8. Service was great and attentive, and food served accurately and at the same time. Highly recommend the beef lasagne.

Lovely old stone building with great atmosphere. Very cosy in the winter. We were looking for an early Dinner and remembered walking past the Dragon on a previous visit to Crickhowell. Having booked online (which was very easy), we arrived early but our table was ready and the staff took our order quickly so the food came out bang on time! It was all home made and very delicious. Prices are very reasonable for both food and drink. We were so impressed we asked about room prices as we are considering staying there on our next visit to Crickhowell. There is also parking at the rear of the property which is a bonus.

Visited for a family celebration, staff went above and beyond for us, warm welcome, food was amazing. If you are looking for a cosy, welcoming place to stay or just pop in for food and a drink I would highly recommend. Definitely will be frequenting the Dragon a lot more.

Been to this restaurant plenty of times in the summer, but I?ve never had their Sunday roast. We stopped by this Sunday and was lucky enough to get a table. As you can see, we had the lamb and the chicken roast respectively. They were both very nice. I think it?s the nicest Sunday roast I?ve had in Wales. I was suggest that you make reservations as it fills up quickly. I will definitely recommend.
