Pleasant café doing breakfasts up to (I think) 11am and light lunches. Big flight of stairs to get to it but there is a lift.

Lovely cafe in the Old Market Crickhowell.
Lovely food and godd customer service.
Well worth a visit but it can get very busy and some tables are reserved regularly! Try to book!!

Superb chicken and mushroom pie with baked potato for less than a tenner. Can't beat it.

We went in here for food as we were passing by and I'm so glad we did chicken and mushroom pie was great and the salad was really tasty and also the portion size was good value for money. Would recommend this place for lunch if visiting Crickhowell.

We visited recently for a light breakfast, and were not disappointed with the quality of the food. The poached eggs were done exactly as requested, and the bacon was spot on too. Best coffee I have had in ages.
The cafe is on the first floor, but easily accessible by stairs or lift, and there's a separate, dog friendly room too.

Another fantastic lunch at the Courtroom Cafe. The owners are so professional, kind, efficient and the food is excellent quality and very good value for money.
Thanks again for such a wonderful experience!

Delicious food and the service was friendly and warm. I loved the aesthetic of the building the stairwell could do with a little cleaning, but it is an understandable situation, it's huge. I had chicken and leek pie which was very cheesy and tasty the salad was great and each element had a nice tweak to make it special. I would go again. It also has a good vegetarian selection for my mum.

Amazing breakfast and very good value.
Dog friendly but only in a small room just for dogs.
Felt a bit like outcasts.
Don't know why we couldn't eat in main rooms.
So many pubs and restaurants don't have an issue with it.
Rant over
Would still come back as food so good

The food and the price was very very good. Nicely done inside, and part of an old historical building which was interesting.
The lady that served us, was particularly transactional and not very friendly. Couldn't find toilets anywhere.

Originally visited in July 2023 - Great little place, food is all home-cooked and very tasty, portions are generous and great value for money, staff are extremely friendly and make you feel most welcome. The full breakfast was excellent, and they used really good quality bacon for a sandwich. We watched as staff made up plates of salad etc. You certainly don?t leave hungry!
Access is via stairs to the first floor, there is a lift for customers to use if necessary. The cafe is situated is a wonderful high ceiling room with windows looking out over the High Street. A great alternative to a pub lunch. It appears you can reserve tables, and may be worth it to guarantee a table.
UPDATE - Visited again for breakfast in February 2024. Quality and service just as good a previous visit. Cannot recommend more highly, and will be returning again shortly.
