Great food, good beer and lovely atmosphere.
Stayed at Cwmdu campsite, walked the surrounding mountains got back in time to shower and take the short walk to the pub.
Yummy and filling burger just what we needed.

Stopped by for a Sunday Lunch on 15th June on the way up to Rhayader. Absolutely delicious food, very quick service and very reasonable prices. Had the roast pork which came with dishes of what felt like unlimited veg (carrots, peas, broccoli, potatoes, red cabbage, parsnip, cauliflower cheese)? and the most delicious Oreo cheesecake after, all for about £16. Great selection of drinks, too. All the food is made locally and by the family. I will be thinking of that cheesecake for a long time?! Very friendly staff, will be back soon!

Sunday roast was brilliant, quick at arriving although ordered dessert and waited ages but didn?t come and they?d forgotten about our desserts so had to wait longer for them to arrive

We only went here for a few drinks and a Sunday roast. Staff and service was great. Food was awesome, I've never had such tender beef! Highly recommended.

A lovely tradional looking pub, with a perfect selection of Food and Drinks.The Staff were friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our meal immensely Well worth a visit.

Don?t even know if this place still operates. Came here on a Thursday evening to meet some friends as a halfway point and it was completely closed up even though they?re opening hours on here say it should be open
