We just used the book shop, which was excellent. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic cafe. We usually eat here every Green Man but this year they had a very limited menu and none of the choices appealed. Still had great coffee though.

Great place, lovely to hang, drink coffee and read. I had the calzone which was yummy but left with a bitter taste in my mouth coming away after paying £15 for it!! Thought it would be bigger, or with chips or salad at least, that's why they lost a star.

Visited late on a Saturday afternoon. Great bookshop, and pleasant enough sitting on the ground floor space cafe. Menu (perhaps the time of day) was pretty sparse (cuppa and cake) but tasty enough. Fairly limited seating but nice to be able to browse books whilst waiting and/or after enjoying cuppa.

We visited Crickhowell on the way home from a camping trip. We came across Cafe at Bookish & had an excellent hot Oat Flat White. There was also a really well curated book selection. Service was friendly. Well worth a visit.

Good atmosphere, well intergrated with the book shop, nice tea, not too expensive.

We love coming to book-ish every time we are in Wales. The children beg to come here for the milkshakes and food. And we love the book selection and always come out with one. The kids sit at the table and read and me and my wife have a lovely conversation. The food is mouth watering and the cakes delicious. The server?s always have such a bubbly personality. Book-ish in two words are absolutely brilliant. We will always come back.

Nice place we had nice coffee but £11 for a tuna melt on half a panini and nothing else seemed a lot of money. Staff were friendly, I?d go back for coffee but food seemed overpriced for what you get.

Superb Shakshuka and Cilbir. Excellently cooked bacon. Done just right for me. Brown but not lost all its moisture.
Very accommodating for some simple but unusual requests. (Like a double shot espresso in a big mug and some hot water so we could dilute to taste.)

Despite us rocking up 20mins before closing with a baby that needed feeding- the barista was warm and friendly and very helpful. The raspberry white chocolate blondie was dreamy - definitely worth a try. Beautifully layout book shop - we would have had a good browse if time was on our side.

Our only comment is we both smelt like chip pans after we?d had lunch here. They need better extraction of fumes from the Smokey cooking smells kitchen!! Otherwise perfect ?

Gorgeous cafe hidden away at the back of the book store. I had the escalivada which was amazing, the coffee is the best there is in Crickhowell!! I will return again soon!

Amazing little bookshop with a lovely cafe. Some lovely independent bookshop limited editions and signed editions dotted throughout the store.

Salami calzone is absolutely stunning. One of the nicest things I?ve eaten in a very long time. I hope everyone tries it.
Excellent chef!!
