Still here but felt I might leave a review. Stephen and Jo are absolutely lovely people, warm, genuine and friendly. Massive bed, comfortable sea view room, great location for tourism with loads to see all in easy drive times. Got a great tip for a rainy day too should there be one. Ask Stephen about it ?. I'd have no hesitation to book here again because of all of the above, and the price for four days just over £200. Can't quibble at that.
Very close to some smashing pubs too.

We booked in here for 2 nights. Despite being a bit nervous due to some of the reviews, it was absolutely fabulous! The rooms were clean and to be honest, exactly as you would expect for a B&B! The location was really good with beach views. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. Despite not being able to offer food anymore they offered suggestions and plates, cutlery ect to bring food back to the hotel. Would 100% rebook! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Booked this place through a third party website. Booking for BnB at £100.
On arrival, a rather unwelcome reception. And we were informed that they couldn't provide a breakfast due to issues since January 2024. So, why are you still advertising as a venue that provides Bed and Breakfast in April 2025? They tried to blame third party website; whist displaying BnB on their outside poster and online in general. No partial refund even offered. Take your money and run I guess.

Room very run down and not very clean.
Heating turned off at 10pm and was not on at 9am the next day when we left. The room was cold and no hot water for washing!
Biggest complaint was that the restaurant was not open due to a flood approximately a year ago we were told!!
This meant that the breakfast that was advertised as included in the price and therefore paid for was not available.
The advert for the hotel was very misleading and should have been changed to state that the restaurant was closed and that no breakfast would be served.
But obviously this has not been rectified as nobody would want to stay there!!!!
Over all very disappointed that we have been misled and would advise anyone thinking of staying there to read all the reviews before booking.

Stayed last week, granddaughter and dog, on top floor up 3 lots of stairs with luggage and gear not much fun, room very grubby, carpet especially, door looked like it had a jemmy in it at some point to open it and chiseled the door frame. Granddaughter's bed consisted of a shiny surface settee cushion with a thin top sheet on top, main bedding abysmal, mattress topper under top sheet full of red stains at pillow end ? dare not look at mattress, bathroom shower screen not sealing on bath edge and stopping water running onto floor, causing wooden trim around bath panel to rot, so had to position screen inside the bath. No food served, lack of brew materials due to non delivery. Saving grace £10 for dog, and cafe right next door Swn-y- mor opens at 10 am for good breakfast and top of the road Cafe Tir-r-mor opens at 8.30 again for a good breakfast. Stayed here years ago when the restaurant was fully functioning and rooms good, will not be returning, if somewhere else available I would have chucked the keys in the bin and left!!!!
Noteworthy details: Good location, recommend Dylans restaurant and Castle Chippy around the corner near the castle.

Lovely small hotel our room is ok but, love jacuzzi bath it was special for this room, next to the beach, beautiful views beach front. A bit noisy next door because of the dog. No coffee, decaf and milk after the first night we stayed but, it was fine. It's not a big deal for the price we paid for It is not bad at all.
Food and drinks: Restaurant is closed at the moment

My friend and I had a lovely couple of days. Steve and Jo, were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond. The restaurant is not open at the moment due to flooding, but they let us have our takeaways in there - best fish and chips from around the corner!
Thanks for a pleasant stay. I love it!

We were extremely disappointed with our stay in Room 6. The main issue was the bed, extremely uncomfortable and obviously very old. The duvet and bedding were very manky and old. The overall decor was at least 10 to 15 years. The silicon work in the bathroom was horrendous and obviously done by an amateur. The whole room felt grubby. It was certainly not worth £70. No breakfast.

Amazing hosts! After a devastating flood (believed to be caused by a guest) this place has had a complete makeover in the dining room ready for re-opening of the restaurant. We were allowed to use it for our takeaway tea with amazing views over the bay. There is a cafe 50 metres away offering breakfast from 8am if you need it.The rooms were of a great size and whilst needing some modernisation, had everything you need and were very comfortable.Highly recommended.

Arrived mid afternoon to the front door locked and a note attached with a phone number. The person who answered said they would be 2 mins as in the pub up the road. After very brief introductions we were shown to a room and she departed back to the pub leaving us on our own in the hotel. As we booked the room based on published photographs we were amazed that apart from the bed being recognisable the rest of the room and en-suite were dreadful. The bath was stained yellow, the windows covered in privacy film that was hanging off. Opened the wardrobe door to a dreadful smell of damp. The wall paper was hanging off the walls and furniture and the window bottom covered in dust. The door was covered in dirty handprints. The bed linen looked as if it had already been slept in and I have never seen such disgusting pillows. We put the keys downstairs and left .

We booked for a two night stay and were told on arrival, that there would be no breakfast or evening meal due to flood damage which happened a few months ago. If this had been mentioned before we booked on their official website, we wdnt have made the booking.
