Blooming lovely, made the mistake of travelling to Pwllheli for a Chinese first day of holiday, this place equal distance from holiday base but far superior, 100% recommend

Woeful.
House special curry.
The onion looked like it had been cut into 1/4 s and cooked . Huge pieces.
3 small prawns.. thin stringy chicken and few slices of this processed beef
Spent over £25 in all but no complimentary prawn cracker like you get anywhere else.
Orderd through a hatch to a lady who was at least 10 ft away.
Not good when your hard of hearing .
Only approached me to get money and give me my order.
Never again..
Maybe be a one off but once bitten twice shy

The first of many visits to this takeaway tonight, my goodness we were not disappointed the best Chinese food we have had in years, our waistlines won?t appreciate it but we definitely will be visiting again soon.

China palace is the best Chinese takeaway I?ve had, the salt and pepper munchy box was great and too much food for two people, I travel to use this Chinese as it?s better than my town! If you haven?t given it a try please do you won?t be disappointed!

Really good takeaway. Had a few different things and all really good. Seaweed a little bit salty but everything else bang on!

Lovely staff. Cash only. Delicious food - I didn't feel greasy and sluggish after - I felt happy and full. We split duck rolls, salt and pepper chicken, crispy shredded beef and chicken fried rice. All lovely - but the salt and pepper chicken was soooo good! Nice bitesize peices, super crispy and generous onions - loved it! Could snack on those forever. Thank you

Bought a takeaway from here..Chicken Curry,Chips and egg fried rice...I shall always leave a review whether good or bad and unfortunately this has to be the worse Chinese meal I've ever eat ...the chips were like sticks,so hard ...probably from the day before,Egg fried rice was ok and the curry sauce was grim...I'm guessing boiled a kettle of water ,put a few cheap curry granules in,cheap chewy chicken and loads of onions...the sauce was that thin ...absolutely no taste whatsoever...couldn't eat it,it went in bin. I was on holiday and was staying 8 miles away...too far to go back and complain...hence the review...I've no idea who is putting good reviews on here if the other meals are anything like the curry...I strongly advise people to give here a miss in the hope they may get someone in that can actually cook ....Dire ...

I have never eaten fried rice that doesn?t look or taste fried. Fried rice should be dry and ?house special? generally means just an assortment of different ingredients.I think the chef at this takeaway took cooking tips from Jamie Oliver. Their fried rice (house special) was WET.Now some people might interpret ?house special? as fried rice covered in sauce. I beg to differ though? no one wants to eat soggy fried rice. Plus ?house special? sauce had no flavour to it.Also the menu says this is supposed to be a ?large? portion but realistically it?s just a normal portion. The Chicken chow mein was also had a burnt aroma. This isn?t the infamous ?wok hey? (the smokey taste takeaway you cannot replicate at home) it?s more like they used burnt used oil in the wok (plus some wok hey). The taste is overbearing and I could not taste anything but burnt smoke.Their Hong Kong style sweet and sour pork was such a small portion and the veg and pineapple didn?t have any taste. I was expecting something a little sweet (especially the pineapple but it tasted bland). The teriyaki beef was like eating beef jerky in super sweet sauce. It was nice I guess but I was absolutely starving and there was nowhere near enough. The saving grace was the prawn toast AND the fact they turned it around in 15 mins and the lady on the phone was friendly. All for a princely price of £37. I am sorry for the snotty review but this is what happens when I?m hungry, fam is also hungry and no one wants to finish the chow mein or the rice. I took a punt and lost hence the savage review.
