A nice little country pub selling real ales mostly local and local wines from the vineyard next door. They have regular pop up street food kitchens inside which change from time to time.

Visited The Cross Inn today as The Fisherman's Cat had a pop-up kitchen there. Had fantastic paella. Absolutely delicious. Lovely pub too.

The pub was closed for a long time I think. But now it's very open, serves a REALLY good selection of beers (local, as in across the road local wines) has a beer patio area. Which is right by the road but the road is never that busy. No food to date (June24) but I believe that's going to change. Well worth a visit.

We visited with the Vale Ale Trail, wow it looks great a complete refurb, modern but not losing the proper Welsh boozer feel. We visit because they do great ale, hospitality is always welcoming and it?s a unique pub to visit just on the outskirts of Cowbridge. Well worth a trip out.

Stunning decor. is much more cosy. I loved how they used the old barrels as seats.

It has been refitted and it is now a really comfortable and real pub, with darts, good price drinks, great atmosphere. Families good to go there up to 9pm
